I had the Szechuan style beef brisket Noodle and really enjoyed it.

It is ok. Id say their noodles look a lot more flavourful than they taste as it is a bit bland and just oily.

Great food, but I’m disappointed they’re using 100% disposable containers for dine-in customers. I won’t be returning until they switch back to reusable bowls and utensils.

I was extremely disappointed with the food here given it scored a 4.7. We ordered clear potato noodles with pork belly - less spicy. Their definition of light spice was more like extra spicy. Not sure if the chef mis-read or something but yeah it was so hot I literally could not finish the food. Maybe it was me but I know my partner was also surprised at how spicy light spice was. Service was decent hence the 2 stars.

Perhaps expectations really are the thief of joy. I was swayed here by the 4.7 star rating and a friends positive review. I can't say I'm impressed nor would I recommend to others. The meal was acceptable, I got the nutritious lamb noodle , spicy and less numbing (whatever that means ). I wasn't expecting it to taste anything like Phở or ramen, but I wasn't expecting it to taste like nothing either . The soup seemed like a spicy, oily base with no noticeable taste till you reached the bottom. The noodles were great and the lamb was good (yay). Service was also friendly, but the meal being served in a plastic to-go container with paper cups for water was yet another ding for me. Perhaps I'll visit again in a post Covid world and get a different menu item. Perhaps.

I love noodles. I love noodles that hurt me. I love noodles that make my mouth numb. This place fulfills these needs perfectly and has the added bonus of putting yummy meats in with the noodles. Eat here every time I’m in Toronto.

I ordered the most basic of all noodles in this shop, 小面 or Chongqing Street Noodles which is with the numbing spicy soup base, noodles, spring onions and some vegetables. For the bottomless noodles top up possibility, the price is pretty fair at 6.99 before tax and tips, especially if you are a hungry big eater. The shop was pretty clean with proper acrylic shields between tables which made the place pretty safe to dine at with the COVID-19 safe distancing measures in place. The broth is pretty good, you can customize the level of spiciness, numbing etc but the only problem is that the broth is pretty little for the basic Chongqing Street Noodles and after a noodle refill, it doesn't seem enough anymore but of course the taste is still good. They have various options of noodles, egg noodles, sweet potato noodles and rice noodles. I highly recommend the egg noodles, it's cooked well and goes well with the spicy numbing broth. Overall I would give this a 4 stars rating as the cleanliness is great, but the key thing, the broth is a little insufficient, would be perfect if they gave more of that. Service is pretty prompt and good, no complains about that.

Heeeey noodles! This is a great place with amazing flavor, quality and price. The menu is small but you can customize it. If you come hungry the dish sizes will fill you out and if you are still hungry they have noodles refill... Come and give it a try and a nice tip!
