A	Andrew Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here with a friend who wanted Chinese food and was halal and he recommended magical taste. And a great reco it was. The food was amazing! The ma po tofu brought on amazing heat and carried through to balance out the noodles when you put it on top! The noodles had a nice chew and absorbed the flavours of its own dish and the ma po tofu and was so well executed. The app of the crispy deep fried tofu kabobs was my fave and a totally recommend to anyone visiting this place! Super crispy, super flavourful and piping hot silky tofu inside! The burgers had the nice burger bao which is the traditional bun as opposed to the soft white smooth bao. And the meat was so soft and juicy and the bun itself soaked in all that juice and flavour making each bite wonderful! Have found my place for friends that are looking into Chinese halal food! And right in the heart of Chinatown, so it’s steps away from SO MANY amazing places! Service is what you’d expect from a Chinese restaurant but on a more positive side! Depending on when you go, the service is insanely fast, I would have liked if they spaced out the appys and mains a bit so that we didn’t feel rushed. We were a group of 7 and we got lamb, chicken wing skewers and for mains: braised lamb with naan, braised chicken with flat noodles, stir fry green onion lamb, stir fried eggplant, gai lan with garlic soy sauce, Yang chow fried rice and steamed rice on the side. I loved all the main dishes, skewers were a bit of a let down, a bit bland and without any dipping sauce. Good seating area and attentive service. I would probably go back for the braised/stir fried dishes they are very yummy. Great portion sizes too.

The service was great as well, friendly and tentative staff :) The flat noodles and crispy beef were everyone’s favourite! The dumplings were okay I wish they were a little spicy (but, I guess authentically it isn’t so it was still good!)

Items are in Mandarin and English. Portions are large. Expensive but so is everything in Toronto. Good was excellent! Highly recommended.

The best dish for me was the naan and lamb. The skewers were not as good as expected, but still very good. A great place for a casual lunch or dinner. The food was very affordable.
K	Khoi Pham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem that I wish I discovered much earlier. The food is so flavorful. I'm especially obsessed with the lamb skewers. The restaurant is also much more spacious than you might think. Great spot for small groups. 100% a recommend if you're in the Chinatown area.

Staff was quite friendly and food arrived quick and hot. Great neighbourhood spot, especially if you consider this type of food your comfort food. It is a bit on the oily side, but who’s having this everyday? The food was tasty while also being very budget friendly. I would return!
