β β β β β Taste of China is by far the best Chinese food restaurant in the downtown core. The staff are friendly and remember repeat customers. The food is always excellent in terms of fresh ingredients and perfect execution. I've been eating there for years and the consistency of the dishes is incredible; I always get exactly what I'm expecting. Perhaps the best thing is that Taste of China stays open super late. I can always depends on them bring open after a night of drinking and dancing. You must go here and try the crispy XO beef.

β β β β β Used to be such an amazing spot and the beef was great but unfortunately the star dish General Tao wasn't made fresh to order as the chicken was previously cooked and just warm sauce added to it. Hope they up the game again as it was such a disappointment.

β β β β β If the waitress with the funny weird red haircut is still there I won't ever go back.She is rude,nasty and can't serve the customers properly.My experience she left the bowls and table all messy when she served the crab soup like she was very rude when she served no manners at all and forgot my daughter's juice.So I didn't tip her at all,I won't tip someone who's rude and can't serve.NASTY GRUMPY WOMAN.

β β β β β Had a craving for Chinese food, specifically the deep fried squid. Enjoyed the meal!
Got an order of chow mein, deep fried squid and yeung-chow fried rice. Good portion size, everything arrived piping hot, tasty overall and seemed freshly cooked.
