My partner is Vietnamese and I've traveled there extensively. This place takes me back to Vietnam, including the ultra speedy service. It's a take-out place which sees an incredible turnover of customers, especially during peak hours. The subs (banh mi) are nearly as good as they are in Vietnam. Most certainly my go to place for a quick Vietnamese bite whenever I'm in Toronto

Hands down one of the most underrated sandwich spots in the city. The assorted cold cut never fails to please. As of July 2021, it's $3.50 for a small and $4.50 for a large Banh Mi. Just a reminder that it's cash only here.

OG banh mis!! The Assorted Cold Cut is number 1! Their baguette is soft, they put a generous amount of meat, also mayo & pate spread. The ingredients they use are fresh, the crunch of the carrots and cucumbers makes it all the more flavourful. Their selection of authentic Vietnamese desserts are also good. The Che 3 Mau (3 Colour Dessert) is worth the $4 as it's filled all the way to the top of the cup with lots of coconut cream! Very refreshing and sweet. ?

Home-made, delicious and a great price!! When I am craving banh mi, I always enjoy them from here! It may not be a modern place but it is a classic place.

only the best viet sub around, ever! Their patê is so flavourful and I highly recommend the meatball as well if you are looking for something other than the cold cuts! Definitely go for the spicy if you can handle a bit of heat. This was my fav place when I was in Uni - revisited them today after a decade of graduating and still tasted amazing!

One of the oldest but famous Vietnamese Sandwich places in the city! Their food quality is consistent and for how long they've been in the business, they have everything down to a system. They start pretty early to start their sandwiches which gets outsourced to other grocery stores like T&T Supermarket that mark up the price. This Chinatown location is their main location while other locations reside in Scarborough, North York and even Vaughan as well! Don't be afraid by the staff, it's so easy to get the assorted cold cut sandwich at the cashier and skip the line (instead of waiting in the line for customization). The lady at the cashier is not that intimating and understands English. The small assorted cold cut usually gets me through the day especially with $3.50 for a small what a bargain! They also offer the $4.50 for a large or other sandwich combinations if you want to wait in line. They also offer a bunch of ready to eat fresh roll wraps or noodles in the cold section as well.

Sandwiches are good! The one i like the most is bbq pork but the rest aren't bad either. Service sucks but since it's not a restaurant it doesn't bother me that much. For the price and quality i would highly recommend it. I wish they had more selection

Banh mi is pretty good! I got the veggie and lemongrass tofu, both were delicious! Not as fulfilling as I would like but worth the price. They only accept cash and are a takeout place. Vegetarian friendly ?
