M	Milos Tomin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to this place twice when it soft opened a few years ago. The menu has changed slightly and currently they have a small patio open. Proper wok hay aroma, fast and friendly service and staff who likes chatting about the food. Going back for Hot Pot finally in a few days.
A	Ailun Yang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for the catfish kao yu (grilled fish), but got catfished instead. The fish was not a whole, fresh fish as is typical of kao yu, but chunks of dehydrated fish thrown into a boiling pot of soup. For white folks reading this, that’s kinda like going to a steakhouse and them serving you a Hungry Man patty. Also, they have this fly killing appliance that makes this really loud staticky sound every time it kills a fly. Which I mean, I guess it’s good that they’re solving the problem but what does it tell you about the restaurant in the first place that they need that appliance? Oh and it’s cash only too, and the ATM will charge you $2.25 to withdraw.
H	Hao x on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy food, very fast and attentive service. A little bit on the expensive side and cash only which is the only drawback. Very authentic chinese cuisine and they stay open late!
m	michael chambers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do like this place, I’ve been 4-5 times in the past couple months, but I definitely got the “white price”. Menu for dry pot says $20 and they charged me $30. When I asked, he said the menu has the old price. When pressed he said he’ll tell “the boss”. I already paid and was waiting for my food so i let it go. Just rubbed me the wrong way and I think this is my last visit. And I can see what other reviewers are saying about rudeness, particularly against non-Asian customers, and most specifically the tall guy behind the cash counter (wait staff when dining in were arguably better and were helpful in the past on my first couple visits). I thought the food was relatively tasty but also nothing too special. I’ve been to a few different hot pot places of various styles in the neighbourhood and service, politeness, price, and overall experience were better most other places.
H	Hydi Ng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in downtown, the place is not fancy. A few of big seatings with mostly young chinese students customer. Quite flexible we ordered something not on menu but not enough salt. Taste is pretty good in general. Didn’t try the drinks. Worth going!
R	Raner la Bastide on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was fine. Pretty expensive for what you get. We got crispy bull frog legs for $19 and chicken heart for 13 also. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. They gave us complimentary gelatin desert which was ok. The service was very good though, they have call buttons on the patio tables. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Overall probably will not be back but it was fun .
オ	オルソン雅美 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited with my boyfriend and ordered the bullfrog legs for fun and the chicken cartilage dish. Also got the rice with pork fat and green onion. All dishes were fine. Price was too high for the flavor though. The bullfrog legs were mostly chili peppers and very few legs. The waitress was very nice and they had a cute patio set up. If I go back, I will get other things on the menu. It's cash only btw.

Most importantly, they ACTUALLY do their spices right (none of that mild bs but actually fresh peppers and real spice) Service- expect your usual Asian restaurant service (no kiss a**ing and begging for tips, just being real and get you what you ask for and do their job) Perfect for everyday hungry souls.
