About Ricky's All Day Grill - Airdrie
From our humble origins as breakfast experts – to today’s menu with dozens of modern dishes for any time of the day, Ricky’s is a place where everyone feels at home.
Ricky’s opened its doors in Vancouver in 1962 as Ricky’s Pancake House, famous for buttermilk pancakes, value breakfast specials, and the very best service. Ricky’s expanded in the 1980s to include full lunch and dinner. As well, in 2014, Ricky’s acquired ABC Country Restaurants, a chain that had delivered great country fare for over 40 years. This merge brought together two great brands, both with a rich history of delivering exceptional food and service to Canadian families.
In 2017, the Ricky’s brand further expanded with the launch of Ricky’s Café, a new contemporary café concept with an express burger and sandwich bar and gourmet home meal takeout service. All while still serving the famous breakfasts and high quality lunch and dinner items Ricky’s is known for.
With ongoing expansion, including new locations opening in Alberta and BC, Ricky’s has 85+ locations across Canada to serve you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was good, the food not so much. I had the Turkey dinner. The mashed potatoes were a sloppy mess with very little dressing to go with it. Turkey was tender though along with pretty good gravy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEN! My first time at Ricki's, my mom decided to take me here for apple crisp. Our waiter Ben, was just a peach. He was friendly, helpful and considerate! Knowing that it takes a bit because they make their apple crisp fresh, he came over after about 5 minutes and apologized for the wait. We had requested a tea from the hostess, and he noticed we were out of water and he refilled the pot promptly. The best part? he even went out of his way to fix (and i know i sound crazy but i cant help it) one of the wine bottles up on the rack just above the register by the fire exit. It was driving me INSANE, sitting incorrectly on the rack. He went up right away and fixed it. He has a great sense of humor. All in all? It was a great experience and i would recommend Ricki's for a desert night any day of the week because that apple crisp was divine and of course because of Ben. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had chicken and waffles. It was delicious. My wife had a typical breakfast and it was decent. This is your typical breakfast feel. The food is good enough but I go to these type of places to have a good conversation and the options are good. 3 star because it's exactly what you should expect from a diner type restaurant feel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just left this location and I wanted to give props to our server. I wish I asked his name all I know is he’s going to school in Edmonton soon and works 3 part time jobs. This young mans customer service is outstanding!! Rarely do you get someone so pleasant and friendly who checks on you multiple times and even stops to ask if a specific thing you requested was to your satisfaction. I did let him know how fantastic his service was but also wanted to let his employer know how fantastic he is!! Keep up the awesome work and thank you so much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was amazing! The food was awesome, and my boyfriend and I both enjoyed every moment. Cozy and quiet for a Friday night. Fast service as well, we werent even in there for an hour! The two staff who served us a young lady with short dark, I think black hair, bangs, and pretty press on (?) Nails, and a tall young man with light brown short hair and glasses (I apologize for not catching your names!) Were amazing. And to the young lady who served us, and asked us about our evening plans, we did make it to the bowling alley but he didn't win, we tied! Definitely coming back sometime!
