So you begin, as Steve did in the first place, by sourcing the finest teas and botanicals from friends in India, China, Sri Lanka and Africa. You make buying trips around the world, and have samples arriving daily from tea gardens, traders and brokers. Some you purchase directly, others from auctions held in the tea trading centers of Calcutta, Colombo, Mombasa and Jakarta. You never buy pre-blended anything. Each tea and infusion you make is crafted with care and discipline.

It truly shows the great hand that the chef has that the simple things are done so well. Ordered the basic breakfast but it was from that. Everything on the plate was homemade even the sausage. Scrambled eggs were perfect, light and cooked expertly. I'm not a jam on toast kind of person but their peach orange marmalade might have changed that for me. I could keep going on and on on how incredible the food was, they've ruined any other breakfast I have ever had or will have!. I will be back plus extremely affordable for the quality.
K	Kari Lockhart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my search for the most delicious chicken & waffles in the area I visited Jam's. They didn't disappoint, however, it wasn't my favourite so far. I gave them a 4 star because the waffle, even though it tasted good, was soggy before it arrived on the table. The chicken was a whole, breaded breast and was crispy and tasty accompanied by maple syrup & butter. I love going to restaurants that serve tea in large teapots. This happened on my first visit to Jam's (over a year ago), but this time hot water was in the typical stainless (barely holds enough water for 1 cup) teapot. I don't enjoy re-steeping my tea bags and I also don't enjoy continuously asking the server for more hot water, they are busy enough as it is. On that note, service was outstanding and timely. Always a fun, friendly place to enjoy a good breakfast. I especially like the games at the tables to pass the time instead of everyone being on their phones.

Oh and of course their homemade jams! If you are a lover of Ceasars definitely order one of these too, but it really is a full breakfast in a glass! We ordered the medium breakfast and even their friend eggs tasted great! Most eggs have no flavor, these eggs were just perfect! The decor is fun and they support local as much a possible even with local artist's art work on their walls. Their staff were friendly and courteous. Just one of the best meals and service I've had in a very long time. Definitely making this place my go to for now on! Oh and they do High Tea once a month which I definitely will be checking out!

If you haven't been yet, you're missing out! Highly recommend the fried chicken, and make sure to take home a jar of jam.

The beef patties were delicious and very different from other places. The waitress was welcoming and super nice. I would say one thing can be adjusted is the seating arrangement to create a nicer atmosphere.

Staff was great too and I’ll be back to try something else. Don’t know if I would do the c&w again because I wasn’t really hungry until dinner, it was almost the size of the plate. The spicy butter stuff was good too.

Chicken looks a bit interesting but it tastes good. It is juicy and fresh. The only con is that service is a little slow And tables are a bit uncomfortable.
