An Edmonton boys' dream turned reality. Roger Newton purchased an old pool hall in the west end of Edmonton, with a clear vision of what was missing from the city of champions. There were Irish Bars, English Pubs, and even Belgian Cafes, but there was nothing that truly honoured the rich heritage of Canada. Combine that with his love of Sports, Roger opened the first ever Canadiana Sports Bar in West Edmonton, The Canadian Brewhouse. This location has since closed, but it was the start of a service industry giant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amanda L. was an absolutely amazing server and ensured that my request for a bowl of barbecue sauce on the side was met. She even helped me wipe a stain off my shirt when I got a little excited about the bbq sauce. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a great meal!

She is a joy to talk to and always keeps up with our tables!! Definitely would recommend this for anyone looking for a good, memorable time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joelle was the sweetest server! I wasn’t sure about the atmosphere but she made it a warm and welcoming environment! Servers like her are few and far between!! i would definitely recommend asking for her when you go out! she made sure everyone was okay, updated us on our food and always had the brightest smile!

Looking for an ice cold brew with the homies on a game night? 110% the place to be. Great food, great drinks and best of all great service! Shout out to Amanda for being a wonderful server. Always a pleasure to be a patron here and better yet, to have a good time!

She’s very knowledgeable, kind and beautiful. This brewhouse is very lucky to have her serving there. If you get Amanda L you are bound to have a wonderful experience!!!

Effort was clearly made and our whole table appreciated. Extra thanks to the server for making our night that much more enjoyable. Would recommend to friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome experience! Not sure why we hadn't stopped here before -- I think I assumed this wasn't kid-friendly and drove on by. After learning there's a kids' menu (for my youngest), we decided to give this place a try, and we were not disappointed! In fact, my boys loved this place so I promised we could come here whenever we're dining out. We enjoyed the atmosphere and décor -- my oldest boys loved watching the NHL playoffs on all the screens, and even my youngest who doesn't care for hockey enjoyed being here. There isn't a bad seat in the house! The food tasted great and was a very good value, and our server, Amanda W, was absolutely fantastic! She was super attentive and efficient, and made our visit very enjoyable... hopefully we can ask for her by name next time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'll try and keep this short. Got home from a 12hr flight (11pm). Ordered food (from skip) at 11:27pm. Didn't get food till 12:44am. Packaged poorly, everything was removed without breaking the "seal". Everything was ICE COLD. Burger was a flattened, soggy mess. My daughters kids pack had twice as many fries as mine. WORST PART, we made the order and then noticed the 61min wait time and tried to cancel. Both ourselves and Skip couldn't get through to cancel. We kept getting hung up on. Absolutely will not be making this mistake again. F-
