Buy in store if they stock the item but do not buy it on line! They sent us a fragile picture frame in a plastic bag. There was no shipping box or padding. Needless to say it arrived shattered. Also, they charged us $20 and guess what, even though we returned it to the store and picked up the replacement in the store, the $20 is non refundable. And, it's not a simple exchange, you have to pay for the item again and hope that eventually you get a refund.

Once staff noticed I didn’t have a mask on, they immediately ran over to tell me to put one on, then walked away without offering any assistance. I put a mask on then I asked for assistance, one lady answered a question I had about a couch I had been shopping for, then told me they didn’t have the coffee table I was looking for on display and she left me. Went for a quick walk around the store, the coffee table was on the floor in plain sight. Gave me a smug response when I told her it was actually on display. When dropping 10k on furniture it would be nice to get the least bit of help.

Placed an order on March 20th at first it said estimated delivery 27th April. When that date passed there was no communication whatsoever. I called the customer care and they said the ETA is now 5th May. That date passed too and again no email / notification. Again I called customer care and they informed me the new ETA is now May14th. I just gave up and cancelled the order. Very unprofessional service overall.

Placed an order over 2 and 1/2 weeks ago. Called customer service today to find out where my order is since they charged my Visa the day I placed the order. The customer service rep tells me that it's been shipped. I ask for details and where the email is to follow up with tracking and she puts me on hold without asking and then hangs up on me. I waited on hold for over 11 minutes to speak to the customer service rep so I'm not happy at all. She has my phone number and she knows she hung up on me so she should be calling me back. No call, of course. Save your time and energy, buy elsewhere!

Great shopping experience in this location with so much to choose from and excellent quality of products, style and design options. The location is on multiple levels offering a wide enough shopping area during these times and knowledgeable staff. Prices are reflective of the unique offerings, thou not cheap but somewhat justifiable.

*update* Sabrina completely ghosted me. I don't think I'm the first or the last. We threw it out and got something significantly better. Expensive lesson learned! $2000+ on a rug that we had for 10 months that looks like it spent 50 years in a smoker's house. Their catalogues look beautiful but they obviously use cheap materials and sell them at a premium - don't waste your money. Yorkdale staff are completely apathetic to any concern a customer may have - the only line you'll hear from them is "that's our store policy" which means they're used with complaints and they clearly don't stand behind their products. After placing an $18,000 order I won't spend another dime at Pottery Barn as their items are clearly poor quality and overpriced. If you absolutely must, buy something online as their customer service phone number will only help if you have an online order number. There is nothing they can do if you place an order directly through the store. I have heard nightmare stories about this store and took it with a grain of salt, lesson learned! No wonder they charge so much for their items - they know no one will have the ability to return them.

I purchased $28,000.00 worth of goods in April, 2021. The goods (outdoor furniture) were to be delivered June 5, 2021. I never received them and by the end of the summer I cancelled my order. I can’t explain how difficult it has been getting my refund. I have been on the for hours with their office in the States. I received most of my refund back which took a couple of months. They still owe me $2,000.00 and I doubt I’ll ever receive it. If you want to shop at pottery barn, only shop in store. They are impossible to deal with and completely disorganized. I will never shop there again. 1 star is too much for their customer service.
