Pretty good service. I would like the girls to ask a bit more frequently if we need a fitting room, instead of us asking when our arms are full. Also, I noticed a lot of gossiping about customers who come to sell their clothes and we customers can clearly hear it. I would be more quiet about it at least. Other than that great, friendly store and the music is good and relaxing.

DON'T EVEN BOTHER wasting your time trying to sell here. I brought in a huge box with probably a hundred items, all in perfect condition, most barely even worn, lots of current styles and they only bought ONE sweater for less than $3. When I asked why, she said they had "general wear" Keep in mind I inspected each item prior to boxing up and everything was in excellent condition. I swear they want you to go to Aritzia or Lulu Lemon, buy something, wear it once (or not at all) and sell it to them... It's so ridiculous. Their standards make no sense. Browsing the store while waiting for my buy, there was countless items in "less than lightly used" condition. Lots of clothing that looked worn, faded, dull, ripped or had wash wear. Also lots of horrible, not in style items. You can also see and hear the young girls gossiping about the clothing brought in or making faces over certain items. BEYOND unprofessional, uncalled for and potentially hurtful to the person who brought in the clothes if they see or hear. They also do not have an automatic handicap button for the door. SUPER inconsiderate towards people in wheelchairs, moms with strollers or kids or anyone in general trying to carry a large bin into the store to sell. I'm honestly disgusted by their lack of accommodation for these groups of people. I had my toddler with me and a huge box to try and get through the door. The girls at the front just stood there and watched me immensely struggle trying to get both box and toddler through the door. Overall the concept of this store is good (I'm an avid thrift shopper) but the way they've executed it is horrid and I certainly won't be returning. ETA: It looks like the owner is super rude as well, based on how she responds to these reviews. Especially the review where the mom mentioned no shopping carts for those with babies or toddlers. The owner's response was ignorant, rude and unprofessional towards someone giving an honest and beneficial suggestion.

The only reason I gave this place 2 stars was because we found a few decent deals. The staff is HORRIBLE. I will drive the extra distance to one of the other locations. They have better staff. I see a lot of reviews regarding how bad the staff is you would think the owner would work on that. Won't bother going back here. Hard to shop local when you get treated so poorly

I like most of the Plato's stores in Edmonton, but I noticed the staff seem really stuck up at this one for some reason. I had one really notable experience where I was checking out with my mom and sister just as they were closing. My mom noticed a rip in an item and wanted to return it, the staff member refused, saying the till was closed, but then the staff member sternly stook out their hand asking for me to pay for my item so obviously the till was not closed if I could still buy something. I was not impressed and did not buy the item because I found this extremely rude and unprofessional. Lots of gossip I've heard from the staff too in general. It's like they never grew up seriously! That kinda attitude is not good for customer service jobs. I love all the other Plato's stores though.

I go in more often than I’d like to admit lol the staff is amazing and I can keep my teen fashionable and up to date at a reasonable price. The staff also is beyond helpful keeping me secretly trendy (spent like 2 hours helping me pick a single pair of jeans ;) 100% recommend. If you went yesterday go tomorrow it’s already been updated ?

I brought in four items. Two pairs of Levi’s, lulu leggings and an Aritzia shirt jacket. All items were very lightly used. The Aritzia jacket had not been worn. I was offered $39 total for my items. I declined. When I returned to get my things the front workers then offered me $51 for everything. I still said no and explained the Aritzia jacket has not been worn and that alone is worth 50. Once at home I noticed green tape on my items. It seems the workers had claimed my clothes and forgotten to take the tape off. Not super impressed with the whole experience. Save your time and go to the whyte Ave location.
