Very unimpressed with the experience at the walk in clinic at 1 Oak Street yesterday. I went to their sister clinic on Shuter as a walk in client, and was advised that no doctor was on site and that they could book me in at the Parliament location. The reception asked me to come in 30 minutes early for my appointment at 5:15. When I came in the nurse greeted and told me that I was never booked into the system. Over an hour later, I was still waiting to meet with a doctor. I would never recommend this location to anyone. If I was advised that I would have to wait over an hour after booking an appointment - I would rescheduled and saved myself the hassle, and went to a more organized clinic. The doctor I met with, was kind however, and I believe she should find a better work location that better suits her capabilities.

I find the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes it can be a bit of a wait cause the dr is running late, but you can just sit outside and they'll call you when they're ready for you.

Courteous, well mannered staff. I highly recommend using this clinic, if ever needed. Very short waiting time compared to going to the hospitals here Toronto, if you aren't arriving for an appointment and are just showing up.

i got an emergency on Saturday, i made like around 10 phone calls to find somewhere to make appointment. and i finally got this place that can a doctor to call me. i was really happy. and i went there, the front desk helped me out (she has been chatting on the phone the whole time, but other than that everything was fine) and then the doctor called me about in one hour and a half. i thought this was convenient. and then i called the front desk asked when i could go to get the medecine. she said before 4pm. because i got other things to do. i had to arrive there right before 4. that was 3:50pm ish. and the clinic closed...... there time schedule on the door says close at 4 though. so i suffered for 2 more days. on Monday, i thought i finally could get the medicines i need. i called the clinic and ask if she can send the prerescription to my email. and the lady said: i already give it to the pharmacy, you can come and pick it up. i was like, i go to school, and its not close by, what time does the clinic and pharmacy close? she was like at 5. and my classes finish at 5pm. which means i cant make it. so i asked, can you please just send it to my email? ( i mean it gonna 2 mins.) if she can chat with her friend at work time, why she cant send an email? and then she was like you can come another day.... and i have class everyday.... and the lady was talking like this has nothing to do with her.. just keep repeatting: we dont usually do that.... you can come back later.... i have never seen anyone work at a clinic like this. because you are here to suppose to help people whom is in emergency, whom is suffering. i am just going to see my family doctor, its Monday, everywhere opens anyways..

The doctor I saw dismissed the symptoms I was describing and said to just take Tylenol and come back four days later (when he'd be there again) if they got worse. I went to a different clinic the next morning that immediately identified that I had an infection and prescribed me antibiotics right away. Don't go here if you want to see a doctor that actually listens to you.

The Doctor didn't check anything. Talked over me and the medication didn't work..total fail, plus the place was disgusting and so were the people in it. The receptionist was nice though

The place is clean however I have been waiting for an hour and 15 minutes when I was told the wait would only be 45-1 hour. Still one person ahead of me. Not sure if ppl registered before me and left the urgent care building to kill some time, but they didn’t seem to bring ppl in order of when we registered. A lady was incredibly frustrated and left after waiting for over an hour. THEY SHOULD INSTALL A TICKETING SYSTEM SO YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT ORDER YOU ARE IN. They need to be more transparent.

The doctor did not use gloves to examine me which was of major concern since he went straight to typing on his computer without washing or sanitizing. Who knows what he might have transferred from me to next patients who came after me. This place was my only option that day. At the time I felt greatful they were open. The next day I saw a hospital doctor who did more to care for me and explained that the pills prescribed at this Parliament Urgent Care doctor were not enough on their own to fix me up. So this makes me think Dr. Mekhail missed something pretty basic. Not satisfied that I can trust him to accurately assess me in the future. I will say this Dr. Ashraf Mekhail has an easy going manner that did put me at ease, helps with nervousnes. and the front desk staff member was amazing!!! Thank you front desk!!! There was also visible bird feces on the entrance door handles, the patient washroom was labelled as out of service. The intake form had a floating extra "yes/no" indicator that was confusing. This clinic could definitely use some improvements!
