★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been coming here 2x a month for a year now and couldn’t be more happy with this clinic. All of their massage therapists are great! Probably the best massages in the city! Great customer service as well :) They book up super fast for a reason.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I read all of the bad reviews before coming here, and none of them were because of bad massages.
Most of them were complaints from cheap people for tipping, and second, noise from the stairs above (there's also a warning sign at the entrance asking people not to stump). If a little bit of noise is disturbing your inner peace, you should look for a different kind of help.
I enjoyed my time here. The massage was great, the interior was warm and cozy.
Honestly no complaints.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Massage Matters provides a top notch customer experience to book your massage all online and provides friendly and great RMTs. I'm so happy to find a clinic that is in the 21st century where I can see the profiles of all the RMTs and their availability that fits my schedule. They also bill insurance directly so you don't have to worry about filing your claim yourself saving you time! Receipts are sent all online too.
In terms of the massage itself, I have had Taylor and Dora as my RMT and both were fantastic. I definitely will be going back. The clinic offers many RMTs so the one thing I would suggest is if you find that the RMT doesn't match the treatment experience you are looking for, you could always try out another RMT to see if there is a better fit. I suggest reading their profiles to get to know them better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed by my experience. I’ve been here before and had a great session. This time was different. The massage therapist was just okay. A lot of rubbing up and down but not the targeted massage I’ve gotten many times before. I was hoping to release some trigger points with long holds and while I asked for deep and targeted it’s just not what I got. Secondly, the staff up front were talking SO loudly upfront and I couldn’t relax. It wasn’t the spa environment I’m used to or was promised. Lastly, while they say they have direct billing, I was told I would have to do it on my own. Not the same experience as last time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going to Massage Matters for a while now and have already recommended it to a friend. Unfortunately, she had a bad encounter with one of the white male RMTS.
When he saw she was a Black woman, he assumed she was Jamaican and kept insisting that he liked Jamaican food. Throughout the massage, he questioned her about her culture and played reggae music at random.
As you might expect, this massage was extremely uncomfortable for her. I don't believe he would have acted this way if she hadn't been a Black woman.
Please train and educate your employees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted to leave a positive review, despite not loving my massage.
The whole process was very easy and encouraging. Staff were nice and receptionist was exceptionally kind.
I was disappointed in the massage, it was quite painful and left me worse off. Although, every experience is unique - so take it for what it's worth.
What encourages me to try again is their pleasant staff and welcoming demeanour.
Side note: hand sanitizer was delightful, smelled like sweet lemon grass.
