I LOVE this pharmacy! A few years ago I stopped going to Shoppers for a few reasons and decided to find a local small pharmacy. It was one of the best decisions I've made in moving downtown. Almost from day one the staff would recognize me by name and immediately began to recognize my prescriptions whenever I called for refills. At the time when I first started going it was run by women exclusively and they were all kind, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. I can not say enough good things about this place. I have not used their walk-in services but the pharmacy is top notch if your looking to feel like a person and not just $$ walking in the door. I usually go in with my small dog and even my dog loves to go there. beautiful people at this place. Top notch customer service

Do not go here for a covid test. They advertise rapid tests on their website, so instead of going to a hospital, my partner came here. When he got there they said they actually didn't have any so he got a regular PCR test. Well he got it on Wednesday and come today still no results. They claim it's not on their end, but people that I know who went to get tested elsewhere later in the week got their results within the day or the following day... so..... take that as you will. Edit: I understand the testing facilities are backed up...however the only reason my partner came here was because of your website advertising rapid tests and allowing bookings for those. Why would you continue to do so when you know you don't have any?? Take that down from your site. If we knew, we could have gone to UHN down the street and received results within a reasonable amount of time. THAT is our main frustration with this place.

Was informed by a friend Al regarding this pharmacy regarding exceptional service. Staff are patient, informative and helpful. Given that it has methadone clinic with challenging clients, needless to say the staff treat every client with outmost respect. The nurse was very helpful and very approachable. I am in awe with her balancing covid testing, covid vaccine and squeezing me in for a flu shot being the only one doing so. I look forward on continuing to come to this pharmacy.

Got a test done here 2 days back and still no results! I understand the labs are backlogged but no other facility is still taking over 24h :(. No idea when I will receive the results either - heard it can be upto 5 days which is really a ridiculous timeline. If the sample takes that long, are the results even valid? Just book at a Wch / uhn at least you’ll get results in a timely manner. Edit: Just got my results on day 3. They emailed and they called. Would like to point out that it’s not the pharmacy that takes long but the lab allotted to them.

Went in for a regular covid test on Sunday and was in and out in just 5 minutes. Also received very friendly and kind service. I was feeling really anxious that my results would take long considering the recent increase in testing/delays from labs but my results came out in just two days! Thanks again for the great service :)

The staff here have been lovely. They helped me access free PCR's to get me back to work at my job in an assisted living facility and to meet ministry requirements. They have always been kind and even took time out of there busy day today [on a weekend] to answer my call and help explain my results as I found it a little difficult to read. Their kindness and time has been much appreciated!

In the past I have been a repeat and very frequent customer at Metro Drugs. At first glance it will appear to be a typical pharmacy. But, their biggest and primary asset is the staff. The staff are friendly, empathetic and motivated. In a way that exhibits professionalism and compassion, they forge positive relationships with their customers. This is a quality that has been lost over time in similar businesses.

Terrible customer service by a staff named Lisa Don't come here for the covid test. I went online and I'm qualified for the rapid test. The other staffs are actually pretty friendly until I was told to talk to a staff called Lisa. She first asked me a couple of questions and mentioned that I was not qualified for the rapid test. I totally understood that if there was any misunderstanding but then I went on asking her questions to confirm the details. She then started to answer my questions impatiently. She told me explicitly, "Your rapid test might still be positive after 100 days. There are many people who don't follow the 5-day-self-isolation requirements." I'm not really sure what she's trying to say but if she really doesn't have time to answer my question, she should let the other staff assist instead of trying to answer my questions impatiently. Answering questions in a more detailed way will cost you maybe an extra 5 or 10 minutes. If she's busy doing work at the back, then please let the other staffs to assist me. When the public comes to you like me, we are just trying to get help, the final aim is to make sure that we do not spread COVID and cause more trouble to the society. I hope that management will look into this problem and avoid providing such terrible customer service to any future customer. They don't deserve this.
