I understand downtown can be sketchy but that ruined my entire experience, I abandoned my basket and immediately left. Won’t be returning
M	Mason Banks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leighton from beauty at Dundas Square was super unhelpful and also was super passive aggressive to not only me but other customers as well and would not take a return although it was unused and also bought from Shoppers Drug Mart and he made us walk so many stairs just to speak to supervisor then supervisor told him that we could return the item. Super rude and would not recommend.

She was helpful, kind, informative and increasingly knowledgeable on products and she really helped me to identify products and gifts for my family. I was able to buy gifts my whole family loved. It’s one thing to have a shopping assistant who instantly treats you like a friend. I never thought I’d have a favourite shoppers drugmart because they are all pretty much standard but Tsigereda got me leaving North York to go to Downtown Shoppers drugmart. I am grateful for her and I wish her the very best in her career and also pray that she keeps the same cheerful spirit of kindness and happiness. Thank you Tsigereda ?
Y	Ya Zwarich on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad service from Leighton, he acted all kind until we mentioned we had a return. We wanted to complete more shopping after the return but his attitude totally put us out of the mood. He refused to return an unused item within the return period and I had a receipt. He claimed that because it was from another store he wouldn’t be taking it back. Curious as well that I know for a fact that item was indeed stocked at that location for some time. After making us traverse up the stairs and speaking with the supervisor for as little as 3 seconds she knew the correct policy and sent us back down to deal with the passive aggressive attitude downstairs. We came in to this location intending to cause no trouble and make an exchange and instead were treated poorly by employees that are not trained on their our store policies with poor attitudes. Andrew Yeh, please improve your customer experience in this flagship store.

There was an impatient woman ahead of us being quite rude to the lady at cash (Tsigereda) who was working the area alone. Regardless of being treated that way she still greeted us in such a friendly manner. She was extremely patient and accommodating while still providing efficient service to all of her customers in line!

It was only when I got home that I read the reviews that there were many people like me. We spend money to buy goods, not to beg you. So please don't do that
J	JESSICA ZHANG on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always came by this Shoppers and I found the staff at Beauty Boutique very nice and helpful. But today Fresh and Meg treated me so rudely. After I try a foundation for colour selection, Fresh was swiping her hands and the sample. I asked if I can get a wipe or tissue to remove the foundation on my hand. She was staring at me without any reply, like I just said something unreasonable. I felt uncomfortable and tried to go to the cashier by myself. But she said that you cannot take the products with you, like I was trying to steal something. I left the Beauty Boutique and came back a few minutes later. I told Meg that I would like to sanitize my hand and asked if she could help me with my purchase. She said that you cannot choose Salesperson to help you and they don't have the responsibility to offer hand sanitizer. She is attacking me for no reason! I don't know what Fresh told her before our conversation. All I want to say is that AVOID FRESH and MEG at this store! Extremely rude and unreasonable persons I've ever met!
C	Carol F on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Store is pretty organized and clean. It's a really big store location with 3 floors (Food & Personal Care, Beauty, Pharmacy & Post Office). They also serve as a COVID vaccination or testing centre as well. There's a PC financial ATM as well on the second floor near the back. I do appreciate they kept part of the musical history and has the Friar's Music Museum in the second floor corner near the stairs. Do note, they only keep one entrance open at a time (when I went it was the Yonge Street side not the Dundas Square side). This unit is pretty big and houses a lot of inventory vs other smaller units like the one in Eaton Centre. Definitely sometimes quieter than the one in Eaton Centre due to less customers from the mall. The downside is sometimes there's no staff around to help if you have questions. Otherwise, good to go in grab some stuff and leave.
