J	Jan Hicks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big bang for a small prices on sales across the store. The butcher staff is lazy or not willing to be approached. So sad the young fellow in the fish/seafood department 4 times in the last 7-8 weeks is not willing to do his job because he wants to leave early before 7 pm (it's supposed to be open until 8 pm) to go party. He also tried to charge me 6 times the price on fresh mussels. The sweet lazy "kid" has got to go!!!
D	David Hazzan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pricey. Produce is good but selection limited. Meat is horrendous. The thing I hate the most is their store brand - Selection. Never had a good experience with Selection and in many categories that is the ONLY brand available. No thanks….

Grocery stores are always fun for me because who isn't a foodie? even if you're like not enthusiastic about food hopefully you can find joy in either eating right or indulging in something snacky and at Metro the prices are pretty good especially remembering your air miles, certainly better than any convenience store! I worked for Metro when it was actually just becoming Metro it was formerly Dominion and I actually was a dairy clerk courtesy clerk night shift employee cashier I even was a deli clerk one day! Mainly up at the bathurst & Shepherd location here in Toronto like almost literally 20 years ago. ??? So Metro has always been a great place thanks to the staff for doing their best anytime of year to make sure that people get good produce and food there's a good selection of produce and affordable snacks for everybody of every shape size and color so just make sure to try to use your manners with the customers and the staff. Scrumptious snack and spacious aisles, in the grocery store business I actually enjoy Metro and find that they're a quality brand of things are pretty decent compared to no name or other ones from Loblaws which has delicious food but tends to cost a bit more and I always found Metro was a very traditional classic grocery store and their distribution office near the East West mall just off the highway Metro does a great job providing food to Canadians and always has. ??????✌️??????????
C	Christopher Martone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time...EVERY time you come here there is an issue with self checkout. I'm currently here and there's no one even attending. Like at all. Baskets piled up. Nobody checking beer purchases...so there's no transactions happening. Please, fire this store manager. The self checkout and deli counter are permanently POORLY staffed...not understaffed. Where is everyone?!?!

Produce is usually fresh, bakery as well, meat products are hit and miss with organic chicken. The fish products I purchased were obviously old. I had to throw away an entire package of salmon . A lot of product is missing on the shelves. Prices have gone up substantially. I shop there because it’s close to my home.

Sometimes homelessness people linger or hangout around the metro which can be a bother to some people and uninviting but the store itself is nice. They have a nice floral section and gift section aside from regular groceries and bakery. It is also where the cakes are made that go to other Metro locations.
K	Kenneth Kimmes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This location is mobility accessible. There is also an underground parking garage that has stairs or an elevator to the store. They do validate parking. The store has a pharmacy and a great bakery and fresh fish counter. The store can get rather busy in afternoons and weekends. It's best to go early in the morning if you are looking for less customers. This store is in a higher tourism area being close to St Lawrence Market and a couple of blocks from the Hockey Hall of Fame. It's a great location if you are traveling on a budget to grab snacks, lunch and beverages. They also have a small section with beer. There is also a small park to the west by about a block. There is also a small hidden walk way right outside the entrance at ground level where you could relax.
