K	Kevin Malone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So i'm not from Halifax, but I've been and did my homework on where to grab a solid Donair, including drunken visits to the late night spots to really get the experience. I feel if I was a true east coaster, I may say something about how it's better back home, but this was basically what I remembered most east-coast style donairs tasting like. Anytime I get the itch, this place will do it.

Stevens on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been to this location several times and today I was advised for the first time that they only put onion and tomato on their donairs, and any other topping is a .50 up charge per topping. There is literally a sign states “choose up to 7 toppings” and “3 sauces” where you order your food. They also only have Donair sauce, no tzatziki despite that being the only other classic Donair pairing. As a person who just moved back to Toronto from down east, down homers get your fix elsewhere!

Loved trying this place for the first time had a great experience the food was fresh and so good. Definately check it out if you're looking for a place to quickly stop by and grab a bite downtown! Super hospitable people :)

The mixed platter, shawarma, chicken tandoori are all so delectable. The new owners are doing a great job with the menu/pricing/quality of food!

M	Marwan Ahmed on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a nice visit, the guy asked me to wait for 10 minutes, I ended up having to wait almost 25 minutes for a Medium Pepperoni Pizza and a Large Poutine. The Poutine was horrible! My stomach would also agree. Have a look at the pictures. There is little to no gravy on the poutine. I flipped it upside down to find a little tiny bit of gravy and some old soggy fries and a bit of cheese. Will never go there again.

Now the big question on everyone's lips is is it the same? The short answer is No. To explain what is different is the meat and sauce, I know what is missing but do you? I will say it is extremely good and I did enjoy the fresh veggies as I had "the works" and a large to boot! Their menu is extensive and certainly, there is something for most people.
