I have a shy scaredy cat and he’s always afraid to go to the vet. Dr. Sarah and her team welcomed us with a calm environment and gentle approach to my shy guy. Thanks for being sweet to us.

We were recommended this clinic by several friends, friends of friends etc. We needed to find a vet, many were not taking on new patients so we put the word out to friends. Upon trying this place, we were happy they had room, and were accepting new patients. Lovely first impression, not charging us for a simple stitches removal, and seeing us right on time for our 530pm appointment. Friendly staff, on time, professional, organized and clean everything you want from your vet and their facilities. Thank you again

Dr. Sarah and her team are a dream team! My pup loves coming here, always waiting by the door with her tail wagging when she sees the staff coming to let us in. Dr. Sarah and her staff take the time to explain everything in detail, so I always feel at ease even from simple things to my pup's recent spaying surgery. The staff are also great at following up with you after appointments and responding to emails. I'm glad going to the vet's isn't a scary thing for my dog - with all the love and care Dr. Sarah shows, I know my pup's in good hands here.

Absolutely the best Vet experiences we have ever had! After a nightmare at another clinic we used for years, for a dental cleaning for our little boy, that ended with emergency hospital care (partially unavoidable surgery side effect, but unacceptable behavior from there) , we changed to Dr Armstrong and this team. We were untrusting and standoffish at first but they gained our trust over a few visits. When the need for another cleaning for him was needed, they offered us a variety of options including a dental hospital instead of promoting their own considerable expertise alone. We decided to go with them for this and they assured us they would take the best care possible for him and they were amazing! He is doing better than before and that's only 2 days after! The care and concern for his treatment and for a terrified doggy daddy were above and beyond! #thebest ! Our gratitude is immense, thank you to all the team at Olympic Village Vets!

Relocated back to Canada in July 2020 after living in North Carolina for several years. In May 2020, my boy Parker (Boston Terrier) who was eight weeks old came into my life. My vet in North Carolina (May- July) was awesome, but changed when I relocated back to Vancouver. Friends recommended Granville Island, but they were not taking new clients. Not having a local clinic, saw me taking Parker to VAC Emergency Clinic for a stomach bug. It was here, that recommended Dr. Sarah Armstrong and her newly opened clinic. Parker has been a patient there since September 2020 and I have no regrets. Parker loves coming here and they always take good care of him. The clinic is new and clean always. Dr.Sarah Armstrong is very knowledgeable and always takes the time to make sure I understand everything that has occurred to date. Dr. Armstrong and her team are amazing! You would be lucky if your pet can become one of their patients. You won't regret your decision - I promise that! Richard and Parker

I just love everything about this clinic - my dog has been coming here since he was 8 weeks old, coming to the clinic is like a treat for him! They always make us feel comfortable and they are so lovely to us. Even when we had to have an emergency surgery at a different clinic they checked in with us daily and just went above and beyond anything I had experienced before. Special shoutout to Amanda for always being the most knowledgeable friendly voice on the phone :)! If you are looking for a Vet Clinic I couldn't recommend them enough, the prices are very reasonable also!

This is a tough review to write. We've tried to get our kitty into the vet twice now. The first time, they recommended we skip the vet altogether and contact the animal hospital (he hadn't been eating for a while, although we've been through this before many times and knew he just needed some fluids and support, and of course, a double check that there are no larger concerns). Nonetheless, the clinic didn't recommend seeing him to validate this recommendation and directed straight to emerg. Ended up going to the hospital and it was clear he would have been just fine visiting the vet as we got the feeling it wasn't necessary that we went to the hospital. We're having an issue with him eating again, and would like to get him in for a check, but ideally, to see if there's more going on this time, and after calling a few times, we are unable to get anyone on the line. Finally, we got through and the recommendation was again to go to the hospital without grounds/basis for suggesting this. The vet has our file and the pattern of the cat's behaviour is evident, however the escalation to the hospital continues to happen. Ultimately, we were kindly, and finally, told that the vet is just too busy lately (which makes so much more sense as to why there's no room to see the cat and the hospital continues to be the first suggestion rather than an escalation). This time around, they did offer some tummy sensitive foods to mitigate in the meantime and booked an appointment two weeks from now - the earliest they could do, which is something! and appreciated. Hence, why this is a tough review to write because we are simply looking for support and unfortunately received little to none at Olympic Village Veterinary. Everyone here in the reviews seems to have no issues at all and in fact, have wonderful experiences. We were truly hoping for the same experience and don't doubt that the vet is fabulous, as truly caring people are amazing with pets! However, we wish we were just told upfront that they are at capacity, and are recommending we visit the hospital as an interim solution both times. We aren't sure where to go from here, to be honest. Update: we called another vet and while they couldn't get him in until 5 days from now (which we booked), they advised against a hospital visit for the time being, but recommended a couple other vets to try to get in within the next day or two, in addition. This was a great way to handle things in providing 1) a recommendation 2) an immediate solution and 3) follow up support. Update: the clinic emailed me directly and said they would be happy to see my kitty if I removed this review.
