I was served a dish with chicken which was completely raw (noticeably pink and rubbery). The staff was extremely inattentive and when I chose not to tip on the terminal, the waitress said that I forgot to tip, and handed back the terminal for a $3.00 charge.

Came here mid afternoon after an appointment and we found the place to be very pleasant and clean. Ordered a couple dim sum items and a noodle in soup. The price point was a little high, but the food was decent. We were fortunate to recognize one of the servers who remembered us when working at another restaurant. She offered us complimentary house soup and dessert which rounded out the meal. They are a franchise, so everything is pretty standard according to Neptune Food Group.

Occasionally good but most times it’s quite mediocre. Staff isn’t friendly and today when I ordered the soy sauce chicken it came extremely dry and one cut of it even had an off taste. The pro is they open till 11 so if you’re desperate for restaurant food at around 10:30 then this place might be for you. Otherwise would not recommend.

Repulsive. Ordered the sautéed diced chicken with chili pepper and received nothing but chicken BONES mixed with vegetables for $21. It was absolutely impossible to eat, truly disgusting. Called to complain and they refused to do anything about it. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Ordered delivery during off-hours. Food arrived quickly and and was well packaged. Overall quality was quite good, but at the same time a bit on the pricier side. Portion sizes could have been a bit bigger, but otherwise if you're craving decent Chinese food on UBC, this isn't a bad option. Edit: went back recently and the quality of the food really went down hill. Pretty sure portion sizes were smaller as well

I stayed in Malaysia for 8years before and have many of experiences about Asian food. I can say this place’s food and service were pretty good but the Chicken Rice was too dangerous! The chicken bone was broken by cutting. Those sharp bones are mixed on the rice. Especially, the chicken bone is very sharp. Dimsum was good and reasonable price. One more thing.. the menu is pretty hard to understand if it first time to try.

Ordered the 【Yuxiang Pot with Scallops & Eggplant & Tamago Tofu】. The traditional recipe for Yuxiang sauce requires much more varieties of seasoning than what is present in this dish, but what it does have is a nice balance of garlic, vinegar and soy sauce. The textures of the scallops and eggplants are great, and although the tamago tofu cuts are a little too large, it has a hint of crispness which is pleasant. The only disappointment is the lack of chilli oil and Douban paste, both seasonings would add more richness and spicy flavour to the Yuxiang sauce. Overall, it is a satisfying dish to have with rice, especially on a cold day.

This location is the neighbourhood Chinese resto for Westbrook Village that we have regularly frequented since 2019. It is a good place to take small to medium-sized family and friend groups when you don’t want to make dinner, however not that well suited for large groups due to the physical layout. Service is incredibly fast, accurate and very polite. We have been here so often that the servers know us and now get our drinks and cutlery immediately after (or before) we sit down and usually before asking! ??❤️. The photos show our typical default dine-in dinner choices: chicken and mushroom congee (#410 large), stir-fry flat noodles with beef in soy sauce (#914), garlic sautéed gai lan (#859), and salt-peppery fried tofu (#853). We have had these many times, sometimes as take out, and they are always delicious; I recommend these four dishes as go-to’s. Additionally we have had lots of other dishes including bbq pork and duck, dim sum items, wonton soups, hot pots, other noodle dishes, Yeung chow fried rice (#920, this one is really good), house special fried noodle (#901, another very good choice), other fried rices, and various dumplings, spring rolls, and some chef specials. Overall the food is very good and served up very fast. It is a very solid choice in the area although there are comparable-to-better (tastier) Chinese restaurants in the GVA. However, we will be back often as our default dinner place on days we don’t want to cook. Recommended to take visitors, family, friends. Only two points to consider (for management): (1) Prices are higher than average, and (2) More wontons should be given in the soups (please!).
