Great restaurant with good food, reasonable price and friendly staff! Decent portion of food and a variety of selections of items available. Food selections at the express bar changes daily and other items to order, like lemongrass chicken fried rice, pork ramen and thai chicken rice are all pretty tasty. Highly recommended for people who want to have fast-served asian food on campus.

I have tried GNE for the first time since it is on the meal plan. I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken and it tastes better than I expected. The portion is perfect and the price is cheaper than the other place. Next time will definitely try something else.

Food's at a good price (Average ~$11), service is super fast, food tastes pretty good, and there's a variety of options. Probably the best bang for your buck in this area of campus, especially if you order off the hot bar menu (Combo B; Rice or Fried noodles + 2 side dishes = $10)

This place has some of my favorite Pad Thai. Some of my lab mates and I regularly come here just to get the Pad Thai. The chicken or tofu is great, and if you like spice I would HIGHLY recommend getting it extra spicy. It's also a significant amount of food that I usually get two meals out of it. Then it ends up being one of the most affordable places for food, especially given the quality.

Ordered lemon grass chicken and rice. Got some other kind of meat with the rice. Staff is hostile. Donโ€™t recommend.

Was I expecting too much from a restaurant with the epic name of "Grand Noodle Emporium"? I think so. What the restaurant actually is a fast food Japanese restaurant. The portion size is reasonable enough for its just below $10 price, but I really didn't like how it tasted. Ordering "Pork Miso Ramen", I expected a light and refreshing broth, but I got a oily but bland broth instead. I felt like I just ordered instant noodles with some toppings of meat, broccoli, and eggs. Good enough for a low-income Uni student I guess. If you want better Japanese food, there are good restaurants just outside of campus around the Westbrook Village area. Edit: the noodle/rice combo is much better than the ramen and is much more fulfilling.

Approaching this with the mindset that it is fast food, it's pretty decent. Not particularly high quality or authentic, but tastes good and isn't bland. Maybe stay away if you can't stand greasy food. It's expensive, but the portion is pretty large.

The staff are so friendly, the service is so fast and acceptable for busy nest. I loved this part. And the idea behind decoration was interesting. Well, well, well,... The price was reasonable. However, as a rumen lover, I guess it could be better. So, from my point of view, it was a good rumen. But not more. Another thing: Tofu miso ramen was the only one without pork in ramen category which made it hard for people looking for halal food.
