★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Neighborhood Chinese restaurant in more residential area. Has been around forever and serves the community reliably. Small and cozy, waitstaff are available and attentive. Food quality is surprisingly good considering how small the restaurant is. Braised pork, eggplant, Chinese veg, other standard Chinese staples of southern Chinese bias are very well done. Good value for money. Would recommend as regular eats for those looking for a reliable, homey Chinese hit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a friendly greeting and delicious food. Particularly love their water chestnut pork patty, salty chicken, and braised pork! If you’re in the area, this restaurant is a must. And if you’re not in the area, it’s strongly recommended you go out of your way to enjoy their food!
Please note that they currently are only doing take out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I used to pay patronage to this establishment. Order large meals and leave healthy tips. But, not after the way the owner treated us today. Bought a number of plates and again gave a nice tip. Then Inquired about getting some chopsticks to eat the meal. He said you are not like us! you have to pay for chopsticks! You have eat with your fingers when you eat at the Ridge Garden!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today we found our ideal Chinese restaurant! When ordering, we expressed a desire to avoid garlic and onions. The restaurant not only accommodated ...they were absolutely sincere in their willingness to meet our requests (zero guilt). All dishes were of the highest quality, prepared to perfection (e.g. veggies cooked to the perfect degree of firmness/crispness), highly flavourful, and exactly to our liking. We can't thank you enough for our first experience!! We typically avoid eating restaurant food due to the prevalence of garlic, but you have opened a new door for us. Our deepest gratitude!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked in to eat. Rude owner dismissed me saying “no dine-in.” That’s fine, but before I could even order something for take-out she walked away.
If you’re not Chinese, stay away, as you get treated differently here. Not sure how the food is, but based on the owner’s attitude I would not recommend visiting this establishment to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going here for what feels like ever. By far the best Chinese food in Vancouver. The wontons are 10/10. This is the only place where I do not need any soy sauce to create some flavour. Everything is always fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was meh. Fried Rice wasn’t as good as I thought. But this is why I’m giving it a 3-star review. We ordered deep fried wontons and. got wontons without the filling, wonton chips. Doesn’t say that on their website.
