★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best, most authentic Sichuan restaurant in the lower mainland. You must order the mouth watering chicken, spicy boiled fish, cumin lamb, cold noodles. I'm making myself crave their food just by writing this review!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This used to be a very good place to eat. However, today my wife and I went to New Ching Qing for the first time in about a year. My wife ordered a meat dish, rice and then asked for the waitress to recommend a suitable vegetable dish. She didn't ask the price. The waitress sold us $1.00 worth of green vegetables for $23!!!! It was twice the price of the meat dish. We complained, but the lady at the restaurant would rather lose a customer than give a refund on her shameful service. Never will eat there again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big restaurant. Not very crowded. we went for lunch on Saturday but there are only a few groups of people there. The food was not as good as expected. We wanted to try Szechuan food but it was not spicy at all, almost tasteless. Just like normal food we cook at home ? price is quite high.

I have a weak stomach with many allergies and many restaurants in Vancouver upset my stomach, but I have never once had a problem at this restaurant. The food is simply delicious and the meats and vegetables are always so fresh. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their service is what earns them this rating. Unfortunately the food did not match. We did not find it tasty enough for our liking. Also, their prices are too high. We were expecting some amazing food for what they charged. We were disappointed. Apparently they are not connected to the other Chong Quin, which we have enjoyed a lot more. We will probably not visit this restaurant again. Too bad. We liked the service, but the food has to be good and it is not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food there is Extremely disgusting! The fish is not fresh, seems sleep for 1000 years in the fridge. Moreover, the soup tastes like sticky egg packaged with melting glue. I am totally not a picky guy with food, but New Chong Qing is overturning my imagination of terrible cuisine! Frankly speaking, one star is too high?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Chinese Food ever. We just ordered and spent almost $100 on 4 items. One of the items we received was not what we ordered, although charged the premium price. We ordered Shrimp KungPao and instead we got a bland omelette that had 5 shrimps in it instead of the actual dish that we ordered. The food was bland and cold. I don't know how they got the best rating on Uber.. it must be rigged. Honestly, it is almost criminal what this place delivered. Avoid at all costs. Save your money. Never again.
