โ โ โ โ โ Deducted one star because of delivery having a high dollar minimum. I can't understand the low rating for Lok's. I have only had mediocre food from them once in over 20 years! Everything we order is delicious and properly cooked. The BEST beef in the beef and broccoli and the beef and rice noodle! Absolutely delicious - tender and juicy. They will also add extra beef for a fee and it is honestly worth every penny. Also. the spring rolls are really good and not just full of cabbage as so many are. We love Lok's and wished they would lower their delivery $ minimum as it's unrealistic for two people - min $60 I believe. The place is very clean, and they are taking the pandemic rules seriously and I value that tremendously. Lok's for life for us :))

โ โ โ โ โ Very forgettable with rude staff. We stopped for lunch, were seated without a word, had to ask for lunch menus and we served by a rather sullen, bored waiter. The food was not great, greasy and flavorless. I would most definitely not visit again. It seemed like we were treated differently than the Asian clientele seated in the restaurant.

โ โ โ โ โ Took my parents to this restaurant, and I personally believe this to be the best Restaurant in Kerrisdale. The lobster with fried noodles is my favourite! The waiter is very quick and efficient and the Manager she is very friendly we have good conversations.

โ โ โ โ โ We ordered takeout beef brisket noodle soup and sliced fish congee. We were previously going to East Van or Richmond for these Cantonese staples, but are so pleasantly surprised with the quality here. The beef brisket soup has good noodles, very tender and green veggies in it. The congee has the perfect texture and taste and a good portion size. Each soup was $14.50, which seems well worth it for the size. We will be back!

โ โ โ โ โ The two of us ordered a pan-fried sticky rice to share for lunch. It was quite expensive ($28.8) but considering the size of the portion, it was still acceptable. We could only finish half. Taste was not bad.
What bugged me was other regular customers were given a different lunch menu. When I asked if there was a different menu, weโre told that menu was for โnearby construction workersโ. It left a really bad impression on us & donโt think we will visit again!
