Nom nom nom! This has to be my favorite Taiwanese noodle place around! This place is located on the 2nd floor of Aberdeen mall. This may not always be my go to place since the food court here is so awesome. But when I crave Taiwanese noodle I always think of here! I always order A4 (tendon, shank & omasum). Their award winning spicy broth. To be warned, if you don't order there extra spicy soup (for an extra dollar) and you really like spicy, the spice level isn't there. I usually add about 2-3 spoon fulls of their chili oil. But for those who don't eat spicy, the spice level is just nice! The broth is very flavourful and better than most. They have other kinds of broths I haven't tried yet so something for everyone. My favorite thing about this place is their noodles! I always order the flat noodles that traditionally come with beef noodle. They're always perfectly Al dente with great bite. They make their noodles in house which is probably why they're so good! Another bonus is that they serve Chatime bubbletea at this location! Not the full menu but they have the staples!

It’s definitely not authentic Taiwanese. The beef noodle soups were so plain without a taste and the rice dish was totally not the kind of rice we have back home.

I've been here for several times since last fall. The first impression was the classic noodles were comforting match for chilly or rainy days. But the last visiting experience a couple of weeks ago was just fine. I ordered a beef rice bowl and found the rice over-sticky and caking. Probably because it's almost closing time, they warmed up the rice which were cooked for a while. In the last 20 minutes before they closed, a waitress came up to each table to discuss if customers could pay in advance. Before she passed me the POS machine, she adjusted the tip option to 15 percent. Even though it's not a big deal for me, still had a feeling of being forced to pay 15 percent tip. Generally speaking, the amount of tip depends on customers' experiences and judgements about the quality of service, so there's no need to urge on customers the tip issue.

Food was really bad. Put soy sauce paste on rice to be an one dish. I am really disappointed about this. I came from Taiwan. The street food even better than this.

Got takeaway, the brisket was really good! Really simple but satisfying meal- was slightly pricy though (menu with prices posted in the photos). Service was fine but I can see how some people may comprehend it as a bit too curt.

Extremely rude staff. She yelled at me for asking to be seated somewhere else in the restaurant and the restaurant was empty. They feel entitled to tips but offer bad service. They are always rude. Do not eat here!!find somewhere else. I wish I could give zero stars. They must be really hungry and underpaid if they are so pesky over tips.

Went here for my quick lunch. Service: Waiter took my order and brought over the food with one hand, with a thumb inside the bowl. Also he never bothered to refill water. Food: Beef noodle soup tasted very watery with a large hint of msg, given I was thirsty afterwards. Environment: Staff talked loudly without a care in the world for customers. Also, the mobile order tablet kept ringing throughout the whole dining time. For the same price, it’s much better to dine at their richmond location or kerrisdale location

We order classic Taiwanese dishes here. The food taste average, but the dining environment is quite noisy since the stuffs talk so loud and don’t care what customers think. If you’re looking for quiet dining, I suggest you order to take out.
