About MCI The Doctor's Office Beddington
Due to the volume of test results coming to MCI clinics each day, normal results will not be reported to the patient. We will contact patients with abnormal results or for tests that require a follow-up visit to a clinic. Pregnancy test results will be reported in a phone call to the patient. If you wish to discuss test results with your doctor, please book a follow-up appointment for one to two weeks after the tests are done. MCI is pleased to provide our patients with medical laboratory services. Please note however that due to government license regulations, we can only process tests accompanied by a requisition from an MCI doctor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Mini George is spectacular! She’s been my Dr for over a decade and has always been the most gentle, kind, and informed doctor. I feel so blessed to have Dr George helping me manage my complex healthcare. Regardless that I’m known on a first name basis by most of the staff, I’m never made to feel like I’m a bother. It’s very difficult when you have so many different modalities, it amazes me how much Dr. George remembers and is on top of each and every aspect my care. Thanks to all the fabulous staff both in front and in the back office, you have no idea how special you are! KJ?♥️?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would give it no stars if I could. Do not go here save yourself the time and go somewhere where they want to help you.
Needed a doctors note for school stating that I am overwhelmed and stressed out and I need to have my assignment due dates extended because of the stress. I was recommended to get a doctors note by my student services coordinator. When I went in and told the doctor this he sighed loudly and told me that because he doesn’t have any history with me he cannot write me a note because I have no history of depression or anxiety on file. I told him since I started school I gained 50 pounds over two terms and I can see my scalp as my hair is thinning out. He sighed again and repeated he can not write the note, I also asked to be tested for ADHD which he ignored and continued to explain how he can’t write a simple note for my school. Do not go here these are not professional people at all and the staff is rude.

Called around 4 or so to ask how long walk in waits were, as I was coming from Airdrie. Was told to come after 5PM.
I got there about 5 to 5, checked in a little early, and after checking in I was told "the doctor needs to speak with you on the phone first, we'll call you when it's your turn"
At 6:30 I heard 2 individuals speaking outside the clinic saying they were given a 45 minute wait time. Another individual who checked in after me was told she was next.
I asked for my ETA, there had been a staff change so the receptionist I spoke with after was not the first. I was informed that the doctor on shift for walk-in patients today "takes full consultations near the end"
I asked if that meant if I'd be waiting until 8pm or later, and when I was informed that was the case, I asked to be taken out of the system as I felt too sick to continue being in the mall.
I'm not sure what a full consultation institutes, but I asked to be tested for strep due to a coworker having it and my symptoms being in line with strep for over about a week now (I get sick frequently and tried to power through but couldn't any longer). I also cannot fathom why it isn't a first come first serve basis- I do understand prioritizing more urgent matters/illnesses but I don't understand why I was expected to wait ~3 hours to see a doctor when others were being given wait times under an hour.
Edit: just realized the second receptionist may have said 'phone consultation' instead of full consultation. . . Why? So I can list my exact same symptoms I just gave to the receptionist, remind them that 2 covid tests taken 3 days apart both came back negative then be told to come in and get my throat swabbed? It takes 10 seconds to swab a throat. I'm so unbelievably unimpressed with this clinic

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been coming here for years, with both my kids. I've never had a bad experience so I can't really understand the low reviews. What are people's expectations of a walk in clinic? There are some things you go to a walk in for, and others you should be going to the hospital!
The staff are courteous and so are the doctors. I won't go anywhere that I've had a bad experience, but this place isn't on that list.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unacceptable. Would not even see a baby for a suspected ear infection. This clinic has significantly gone down hill and tries to hide behind covid protocols to excuse rude and bad service. We called twice before coming to the clinic and they said no problem even though my son had a cough ( confirmed viral pneumonia) my husband whom also had a cough needed a prescription refill and we were trying to get him a virtual appointment to which they originally refused. Once getting to the clinic they advised that they WOULD Not see the baby after 1 hour of waiting in the entry way to be checked in or spoken to. Lady at the desk kept answering phone calls and delaying the process further. Once they said they would not see the baby due to his cough ( again caused by diagnosed and treated pneumonia) they told us they would not even look in his ear. we scheduled a virtual appointment for my husband and left. They called my husband back in to take his blood pressure - 1. Funny they could do that but not look in a babies ear.
2. They broadcasted his blood pressure to the entire waiting room.
I am beyond amazed at the unconsiderate actions and disregard for patients care as well as confidentiality.
There are no words to describe a feeling when you go to try to get your child help and are treated so poorly.
Be cautious and you might as well spend your time waiting where you can be helped.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’d give them no star if I could, refused treating me while I was having pain down my arm- anxiety attack, have previous heart condition. Doctor played games and was rude and inconsiderate. Will be reporting him as well. This clinic is very unprofessional and have no communication between staff. Was told to come in and then mocked and not treated. Would not recommend this place. Pointless and unhelpful. Even when I was begging for help!

I went there because today is Sunday and most of the clinics are closed so I was there at 6:30 pm and the receptionist said that the Dr is unable to see me because of the phone call from patients. He doesn't even have 5 minutes to treat a patient. The clinic was empty and they had no patients. On the top of that, the smart receptionist was asking me" When are you planning to see the doctor??? I am coming because I am sick and tired and I need someone to help me. That was disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend anybody to go there and waste your time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although nervous coming here after reading the reviews. We ended up having the best experience here ! My little 2.5yr old needed to see a doctor so we called in advance and the front staff was sweet enough to let us know the wait time. We came in and she checked us in and again told us the current wait time.. she was so good at keeping all the patients waiting updated. My son ended up having a tantrum about an hour into the wait and they so sweetly got us into the next room right away. So incredibly understanding and kind. I would come back and reccamend this clinic to anyone!
