★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The proprietor stunned me with his rude and disrespectful behavior. I brought my 84-yr old mom's necklace (a gift my recently deceased father gave Mom on her wedding day 57 yrs ago) for Magdor's owner to advise whether it needed to be re-strung. When I told him my father had died and this necklace was a gift to mom on their wedding day he actually BURST OUT LAUGHING and said "Oh yeah, poor her" and told us it was worth nothing. When I told him it was worth something to my mom and she still wore the necklace, he laughed cynically AGAIN and said "Really??". This man's disgraceful, snobbish behavior made us feel cheap; he only had to be frank and tell us the facts. Sadly, I was a client at this store many times in the past for my daughters and spouse but I will never step foot in the store again. This may be a family business but family values are sorely lacking.

Their service is amazing and they had what I was looking for within our budget. They are a family owned business so you really feel like a trusted family at their store. I highly recommend Magdor for high quality jewelry at affordable prices and will definitely be going back myself whenever I need anything.
