â â â â â Go somewhere else!
I did my eye exam at the jean talon location and they had make an error in the prescription. When I got my glasses, I wasnât able to see well. I went back to newlook to adjust the prescription but they refused and asked that that I pay full price. Very disappointed that they donât correct their own mistake. Go see the new kids on the block bonlook or Warby Parker.

â â â â â I watched a lot of reviews here. I don't know about the past, but I can say that I had an excellent service when I went there in June 2019. The optometrist was very attentive to my needs and I got good propositions for new glasses. Would recommend

â â â â â I went to this branch to have my glasses done, since my old ones were broken in an accident. And the clerk refuse to take my order, she kept pushing me into getting a new prescription from them, even though I explained her that my prescription is from this year. She just wanted me to get tested again. She was obviously pushing me for the fee, I find that really unprofessional, specially since I was recently in other new look branches and no one say anything like that. I just went to this branch because I thought I would find more frames And just ended up losing my time and my money on transportation. Don't go to this branch, they just care about taking your money, nothing else.

â â â â â I reserved a pair of frames and booked an eye exam, but because of COVID-19 it took one month waiting for the exam.
But after the exam, I found they didnât even keep the frames they reserved for me and itâs already sold out. Very disappointed.
The eye exam deserves 5-stars but I wouldnât recommend to buy glasses there.

â â â â â The receptionist was very friendly and professional. However the optometrist, Dr. Marianne Poirtier, was not. She was rude and unwelcoming. I don't understand how someone else in here said she was very kind. There was not one second when she was kind to me even with me trying to be nice to her. Maybe she doesn't like people who look like me. She was just rude the entire time acting as if she were doing me a favor. And the place wasn't busy so it's not like she was in a hurry either. They get 2 stars for the receptionist and because they did a decent eye exam. It would have been better if I would have had an optometrist that I could have talked to about the exam . Do yourself a favor, pay a little bit more money and go somewhere else.

â â â â â Booked an eye exam appointment online â super simple and the site is very easy to use. I was greeted as soon as I walked in to the Jean Talon location. Very friendly staff and informative receptionist. Dr. Marianne Poirier was incredibly professional and very kind. She provided excellent recommendations.
The salesperson informed me of all my choices regarding their contact lenses and glasses, while I was browsing their shelves. She explained the ongoing promotions. She did not pressure me at all to buy anything, which is incredibly refreshing.
Would definitely recommend this New Look location and I will be returning for my yearly eye exams. Excellent service.

Ordered two pairs of progressive glasses, my first, very happy with the quality of lenses and the look too!
Clothilde provided excellent service, very welcoming when I needed a couple of adjustments.
It was my second time shopping there and I'll be sure to return!
