I contacted Sean AKA Soggy who was recommended to me though a Goalie page on Facebook (GGSU). from the very beginning Soggy had all the product knowledge regarding the different lines and the pros and cons for all. as a Car salesman it made me comfortable knowing this guy knew his stuff! shortly after I told him about my visions he sent me over a template I could easily play with in Paint on my computer. I came up with the template included. he then invited me to the store which for me is a bit farther than other stores but the customer service I had received already to this point was worth it.
we tried on gear, trying to get a feel for it than discussed further details in regarding the customization of the pad. I even sent him a picture of my hiking boots cause that was the lacing i wanted for the glove.
pricing was way better than I thought it would be. its still goalie equipment so not cheap.
I sent the order in through the Brian's website and sent the confirmation to Soggy.
shortly after Soggy confirmed with me that they would be able to do the lacing I wanted in my gloves.
The second the Brian's sent him information he relayed to me so I was always informed.
when the set arrived he sent me pictures and details on the "in person" look.
I have had the set for about 3 weeks now and i'm still speechless about the product and the way it turned out.

They even partially refunded me some money once it was clear that the price for shipping listed on the site was not accurate to what was actually needed!

This is what I call good customer service. The Manager Dave stepped in himself and fixed everything and now we have much better blades than ever before. Thank you Dave for excellent help and service!

I will be back to get my skates sharpened again, but hope that in the future your employees don’t make the assumption that I am a figure skater because I am a women! I could see they were very busy and I understand why they needed to ask which skates were mine, but he could have done so without asking “figure skates?” first. (I have Graf Goalie skates and they were easy to spot as they were the only goalie skates I could see). A quick apology from the employee would have helped as well!
Thanks again for the genuine response. I will be back.
Visited to get my skates sharpened and buy some new goalie gear. They were busy, but also disorganized and rude. Even worse though was the casual sexism. In the goalie section I was completely ignored while multiple sales staff helped one young man. Then when it was time to pick up my skates the guy at the counter immediately asked “figure skates?” and had nothing to say when I pointed out his insulting assumption. Apparently they need to be reminded that women play hockey too.
