★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a pair of shoes from here but before buying it I asked if I could try two different sizes. I came home just to realize the shoes that were given to me were both for my right foot. The lady who was helping me was her first day working there, maybe don’t let her work when she’s not qualified and prepared to serve customers yet. I live somewhere very far and I don’t have the time to come and fix this issue. My poor sick mother has to go all the way to Fairview mall tomorrow to get a shoe for my left foot.... awful service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just left Fairview Mall, and experienced probably the most personable & fun customer service I've ever gotten in the retail industry. I don't usually find the need to review retail stores, but I decided they really deserved one.
I was mindless walking into different shoe stores and then came into Journeys and came up with the idea of getting my little brother a pair of new shoes for his birthday next week. Adam (I think that's his name, judging from one of the recent reviews as he said he's the only guy who works there) listened to my concerns and what I was looking for, he didn't push any reccomendations forcefully and was very considerate. While he was working with me, he often made me laugh and we exchanged some banter, the other lady (wearing green crocs) also joined in our fun. She was also very nice to chat with. I left the store feeling very delightful and sunny after the entire experience!
There was also that thing I said about the bag and he reacted with so much pride it was so funny— we stan, pop off king ??
I don't really shop at Journeys, but if I ever need to— I'll be coming here from now. ♡

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a pair of Birkenstock slippers as a Christmas gift and the young man who helped me was extremely friendly and helpful. It turns out I bought the wrong size. It took me months to get back to the store to exchange the size and I was worried that they would refuse because it had been so long. They exchanged the size without question and the young lady who helped me was just as friendly and helpful. Outstanding service...thank-you so much.
