★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to ice skating rink at the west Edmonton mall for my daughter. Sean was so nice and explained us the procedure very politely. He was very professional and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great ice rink in the middle of West Edmonton Mall. It’s good for recreational skating, only ok for actual hockey. The ice is not in the best of shape. It’s cool that it is in the mall. I have played hockey here and just skated also and the experience is neat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to the gem show here on the 2nd and the last days. It was fun and SO many gems and chrystals to look at. Tons of people on the last day though. Entrance fee was cheap and went to charity so win, win.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I signed my four year old son up for CanSkate at the ice palace. The ice is on the main level, and the dressing rooms are down a flight of stairs. I brought my son down to the dressing rooms, got him dressed and ready for the lesson, then left when the coaches told parents to leave. I was watching the ice, waiting for the kids to come onto the ice, when a random grandmother who was at the mall brought my bawling son to me. NO ONE IN THE DRESSING ROOM NOTICED A FOUR YEAR OLD LEAVE, WALK UP THE STAIRS, INTO THE MALL. Thank God for the kindness of strangers, because West Edmonton mall is huge. I got a, "sorry that happened, but the dressing rooms are busy with parents leaving". Then you have too many kids signed up for your programs, if none of the three coaches in the room noticed. Very upset.

If you good at it enjoy and show your skills but if you don't they will coach you to be pro.
23$ (including rental for skate) for whole day, I repeat whole day.
