★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite possibly the most disorganized retail location I have ever been in. (ref pictures)
My wife and I went in looking for one of The Bays traditional wool blankets. These are a premium product retailing at over $400, so when we walked into the store to see mountains of clothing and items stacked on tables we were a quite surprised.
That would be forgivable if there appeared to be an effort to fix the situation or if there were staff engaged with customers, but unfortunately the staffing in the store has been stripped back to the point that it appeared only a couple customer service members were left. These two staffers had a line of 6-10 people, which seemed to perpetually grow. Which makes sense because if people are not being helped on the floor, they are more likely to buy the wrong product, making a higher return rate the outcome.
Once into the home area of the store we tried digging under a few of the piles to find the blankets we were after, but unfortunately we were unsuccessful.
If you are looking for quality goods that last a long time (what The Bay built its name on) I would recommend Filson in Gastown. If you don't mind a chaotic shopping experience similar to this and want alright quality products then you are far better off shopping at Winners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and clean shopping floor. Some items with huge discounts and worth to buy. Not many customes, so pretty quiet and easy shopping environment. A lot of free parking spaces sharing with the mall. Public washrooms available. Credit cards accepted. Very easy access and recognized.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to this location to buy a new suit and received some great service from a young gentleman. At times it's hit or miss with the service at the Bay but this time I'm surprised that the service level at this location was a lot better. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ December 6, 2020 - Julie, the store manager rectified the problem by ua showing a screen shot of the price online and ended up making the hassle much more comfortable and worth our time and effort driving to and from Coquitlam by offering us 40 percent off. Thank you very much for solving this problem in a professional manner and enabling us to enjoy the tree we picked and future Christmas much more than expected. 5 stars for this company. Merry Christmas
December 5, 2020 - Bought a Christmas tree that was a demo model and had been previously opened and used. The manager asssured us 4 times we were getting the best deal in the 60 percent off clearence section. After going to the car we researched and found we paid the exact price for the exact model they had adertised online. We called management and they will rectify the problem. We have been assured that this was a mistake. We will update the turnout of this issue and the rating based on how this company handles this issue. So far it seems promising. They have handled mistakes in the past very well.

Specially Maddy, she went a great deal to find me very good deals and offered me the maximum discounts. She also helped to order stuff online. She is very kind and helpful. I will definitely visit the Bay more often.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hudson Bay Coquitlam has lots of Parking spot . Lots of expensive brand names under one roof . But People work there need to communicate with each other because one person say something the other says something else . I wanted to buy something that was on sale for $53 dollars online but I found it at store and the tag says $74 . I ask one of the worker can you do a price match from the online store they have . She said no . When I went to make a payment of all the stuff I had And asked the cashier why don’t they do a price match from the Hudson Bay online store . She said we do and have it reduced for $53 . I was very thankful but little mad that I had to go look for the shirt again because I put it back somewhere when the lady told me they will not do the price change .
