I have to inform you that the door panels are cracked as well, not one but all of them. It seems that the door panels were not primed prior to the one coat of lacquer coat Heartwood applied.
Neither the contractor nor David got back to me to address the issue. The only solution the contractor suggested 3 months ago was to do only the corners that were chipped. I wonder what they would do now that all the cabinets are getting cracked. It was my mistake to have trusted the contractor. Whoever is reading this I would be grateful if you could help and advise what is the next step I should take. Do I sue them or GOPublic or both?
BTW, I have the proof where the contractor stated that another Heartwood client had the same issue and contacted him to have the cabinetry fixed.

I opted Heartwood because of its high quality cabinetry and great feedback. Unfortunately, after six months my cabinetry doors' paint are cracking and falling off. and the side panels have a long crack as well. I notified my contractor whom David referred me to and I was told that it is normal for those cracks to happen. I inquired from another cabinet maker and I was told I need to look for redress because it should not be like that. I am very disappointed to David response though the contractor is doing his best to resolve this issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a bad experience dealing with David, I believe he is the owner of the business. He doesn’t keep his word/fulfill his promise and he keeps changing the quotes. He doesn’t give clarity on what he calculated even if you ask multiple times. He gave me a quote of $2500 to supply/install quartz countertop. I saw him at the showroom 3 weeks ago and he said the price went up. But when I showed him the layout and the price he quoted me before ($2500), he said he would honour that. He also took a copy of the layout/quote. I went to see him today to finalize the deal and pay a deposit, he said he can’t find my copy, and the price went up. He jacked up the price to $4800! No eye contact, and no explanation was given except that the price was increased!
No I don’t recommend this company at all, no credibility and unprofessional.
