We started looking to fix up our house exterior by getting a few estimates from various companies. Aside from his considerable knowledge and experience, one key factor that impressed us from the start was how responsive Aurelio was to our enquiries -  he always got back to us right away consistently. This wasn’t the case with my other providers. We are very happy to have chosen the Ottawa Home Renovations and Landscape Design team to help us with our home exterior. Not only did they do what discussed, they went above and beyond with creative suggestions and approaches. They always factored long term considerations for the work involved. From day one, the team worked very efficiently and it was easy for us to measure the progress as so much work was done each day. This left us feeling excited to see all the improvements done when we got home from work. They were able to leverage new and some of existing materials to get us great results. As I a woman I was hesitant about hiring a contractor to finish my basement. After 3 quotes I decided to go with Aurelio from Ottawa Renovations and Construction Corp end result is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I will say he did finish 4 days after estimated finish date but he did warn me at first meeting it was just a estimated finishing date. Still being cautious I paid almost $500 to have another company do a full inspection of work before I issued last payment. They spent 3 hours in my basement and came back with it was a amazing and only fault they could find is the said shower door hinge could be a little tighter and they did it for me. As a cautious consumer I would definitely recommend this company after my enjoyable experience!

Buyer beware!! *See all photos attached* Was hired in Feb/March 2021 to complete a basement renovation. Completed just over 50% of the work (at a very poor quality) and then did not show up past the half way point of the project, and has not gotten in touch with us since April. Almost 3 weeks into the project we had given 100% of the contract value due to the company saying if we didn’t give the next % payment they would stop coming and not buy the materials, even though we paid 50% upfront for materials 2 weeks before the project started. Since the company had all our money (huge trusting mistake on our behalf) we really didn’t have any say throughout the project and had to comply with all the requests as we wanted our basement to be completed. Before the renovation was anywhere close to being completed they told us if we didn’t put up positive reviews they wouldn’t continue with the work. In addition the company actually messaged us the reviews they wanted us to post. (please see photos attached.) – There is a reason there are only all 5 star reviews, and 1 star reviews posted for this company... This company when presenting you a contract will say that it is an all-inclusive rate, then once they have started and you have paid upfront all the money, they will constantly try to get more money from you, and when that doesn't work they will try to scare you and say you never paid taxes. Furthermore, this company uses an app called Joist, this app allows them to change the contents of your original contract ex: removing items, and then say it wasn't included. At this time the company has completely deleted our contract all together from Joist although the job has not been completed. Please see attached the work that was done in my home - poor drywalling/mudding, uneven tiling, uneven cuts, no daily clean ups {I had to clean up}, cigarettes' everywhere, ruined grass from contractors trucks, concrete mess, and damaged products. Also please see attached photos of the glass shower doors that were installed into my ceiling.. as it wasn’t measured correctly prior to installation, I then had to pay out of pocket/pick up new glass shower doors, and now have tiles that are damaged & filled with white caulking as the “fix” in my shower. Search Elsewhere! Please do not let this happen to you ?

I hired Aurelio to replace my counter. He contracted out the counter installation. The counter guys cut the hole for the sink but said that our contractor would need to move the hinges on the cabinet doors underneath (they are tight against the sink). Aurelio claimed that there was enough space and refused to move the hinges unless I paid him more. I also complained that my new counter seemed flimsy and he said it would be an additional $300 to reinforce it. Not sure why I need to pay more to get the job done properly.

Aurel saved us a slew of money! He was able to recommend and take care of issues that always pop up in a renovation. Identified and offered to seal a problem spot needing to be fixed in the foundation. From the start I appreciated the way they were organizing the work needing to be done and taking care of the details that are associated and comes with doing a whole basement. Thanks Aurelio!

My husband and I have hired Aurelio and his team to help us with our kitchen renovation. A project that was thought to be very straight forward became more complex when Aurelio uncovered the shoddy workmanship done during previous renovations (done under a previous owner). The floor of the kitchen was in very bad shape and was spongy. His professionalism had him reaching out to us with options for improving the structural issues. While our renovation project is not yet complete, the results of his efforts have resulted in a very solid floor. One that will help insure that we will be happy with our completed kitchen. I shopped around for about 6 months before I decided to use Ottawa Renovation Construction Corp for our kitchen renovation and the flooring of my 2200 sq foot house. After meeting with Aurel and receiving his very detailed and fair quote, I was confident that he was my guy for this job. He was responsive and attentive through this entire process. Aurel and his install crew were equally wonderful and they worked so hard to make my home beautiful! Things I noticed: The crew was always on time...to the minute! They kept a tidy workspace and when they left at the end of the day everything was clean. I will definitely use Ottawa Renovation Construction Corp again for future projects.
