Upon checking in I discovered they had already pre-authorized my debit credit card the amount of the room. When checking in they continued to charge my visa as well therefore charging me twice for the room. They informed me that the pre auth would be returned to my account within 7-10 business days. Leaving me short to pay for my room (for a third time) and would not accept cash. As I sit with my two small children late at night desperate to get a room after a long drive.

The staff was awesome and had been over the past few years. I stay there exclusively when in the area. The rooms are great, clean and quiet, the breakfast is good and the staff even accommodate an extra early departure. Of note Belinda is simply awesome, professional, accommodating and always a pleasure. Will be coming back for sure !!

If there was a .5 star rating that is what I would give this hotel. The .5 is for the hotel itself, decent place, but the front end staff’s reservation and customer service knowledge is unacceptable. After a huge reservation mistake and much deliberation, I was told more than once by two staff members that the unoccupied rooms previously booked would be cancelled with NO charges to my personal CC. The following business day I looked to make sure the charges had been released but instead the charges had officially been posted!!! I called the hotel manager Craig twice that day to speak with him personally but unfortunately he chose to email me back instead. After a few emails back and forth I sent one last email and I have yet to hear from him since. I also learned recently another member of our group had extra charges on their CC as well! Very unprofessional.

Night Security lock on the door was broken and did not close. I talked to the front desk the next morning and was assured it would be fixed. I explained to her that as a woman traveling alone it was a safety issue. Well I get back that night and it was not fixed. Talked to the same lady and she said it was fixed. I actually had to take her to the room to show her that it had not been fixed and lock still didn't work. Was offered another room but was leaving in the morning and did not want to pack up twice in 12 hours. This was my preferred hotel but will not be staying there again.

Facility was clean, staff was friendly and amazing. Giving a two star rating because amenities were not fully open for use. Pool had a 1 hour limit when busy and only allowed 12 people swimming at a time, so families were split, there were ball teams there that were able to β€˜reserve’ the pool and have it to themselves for an hour but then it was closed to everyone else. The decision for the limit was made by the hotel owner. The pool was also only accessible with a key from the front desk staff, so they were constantly running back and to let people in and out, and not usually available if anyone called down to the front desk. Made check in lengthy also. I felt bad for the staff who had high demands made on them and forced to enforce β€˜the owners’ made up rules.will never stay at a Hamptons again. * Edit to respond to managers response: if people were worried about a safe atmosphere and concerned about any type of exposure then they can choose to not go to the pool. Everything else is open in Alberta without restrictions. You want to create your own rules I would like to see your evidence for doing so and your medical background for making such decisions. All you did was take away choice and ones personal ability to do their own risk assessment to know what they are capable of.

This review is in regards to the service and accommodation that was made while my husband was on a work related trip. The front end staff were fantastic in receiving a special order, storage of necessary goods that need refrigeration without asking and ensuring that my husband received the delivery. We truly appreciate the level of service that exceeded our expectations. Well Done!

Positive: The hotel was clean and tidy. Booking in was easy and quick and the staff friendly. There was a free breakfast where you could have chosen hot or cold. Negative: I booked and paid online. The pre authorisation that was done at the hotel for nearly double my actual costs, was put through on my credit card and I have been told because I booked online, I could be waiting up to 15 days for it to be returned.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The hotel is very clean and the staff was friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean and adequate for our needs. The breakfast was great and had something for everyone. We didn't get to enjoy the pool or hot tub. The only downside was the pet fee. We misread the website on the pet deposit. The deposit is nonrefundable and is $125.
