Alright you beautiful people, let’s talk Private insurance. Now I know BORING, but we receive hundreds of questions on the subject, so I will try to provide insight into what we have learned over the years.
For most people, private insurance means a payment comes off my paycheque, and the next time I go to the dentist it only costs me $20 instead of $100. The majority of places can direct bill for you, whereas, in our field, this is not always the case. Unfortunately, the larger private insurance companies decided that clinics like ours would no longer be allowed to direct bill as there are too many products to regulate. Over the last few years, we have discovered the ins and outs for most insurance companies (until they change their rules again). We can help you navigate your insurance, even though we are unable to directly bill them.
Most of the information providing to us is VERY general. We can advise you on what questions to ask your insurance company before proceeding with a device. This way you can be assured you are covered. Private Insurance companies very rarely allow us to talk to them directly to get the information needed regarding our patients, so you must call them to clarify your coverage.

They have provided, through personalized care and attention, braces that have eliminated my plantar fasciitis, and osteoarthritis knee pain! In addition, the brace for my Achilles has reduced inflammation and increased freedom of movement. I so enjoy the weekly learning provided through the “What are those” contest, as well as their many teaching videos. i so appreciate their caring approach to meeting the needs of their clients, community and families! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff there are very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! They also do much community volunteering which is a benefit to all and much appreciated. Ryan made my first prosthetic and I was happy with it until it wore out. I had one made elsewhere and was not happy at all. I was Ryan's first customer once they started up Adaptive, and the replacement he made was better than I ever thought possible. I have had other work done since and they are great. Highly recommended to all! All staff at Adaptive is great!

Emilie and the rest of the staff were so warm and welcoming, not to mention extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Emilie followed up with me on a couple of different occasions to see if I was having any issues and if their was anything she could do for me. I would recommend adaptive technologies to anyone thinking about getting orthotics.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff really makes you feel relaxed and puts you at ease with the whole situation. They explain what they are making and why they are doing that. They make sure you know all the details. They helped figure out the insurance available and are all around amazing. We went in looking for a very weird and custom Orthotic for my 6 year old who is very picky, nervous and not the easiest to work with, they have been so patient with him and so sweet. Couldn't recommend a place any more then I recommend Adaptive technologies. They even gave him a succulent they had in the office cause he asked for it. Just an amazing company!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ryan at Adaptive Solutions was absolutely fantastic today! They fit my daughter in and re-fit her exos cast/Brae that she got last year because she broke her wrist again! He is incredibly knowledgeable in his profession and even altered her cast to fit better, rather than requiring us to buy a new one. 10/10 will ALWAYS recommend them to anyone we know. Thanks again.
