★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dealing with Ortho Design has been the worst experience I have had with a healthcare professional. My son received a StarBand correctional helmet and after 3 hours of fittings, the helmet was shaved down too much, which made it shift to cover his eyes and ears. Birgit left in the middle of the appointment, leaving the tech to complete the fittings. We confirmed with a separate orthotist that the helmet was not made or adjusted correctly. Birgit was unwilling to order a new helmet and has not given a refund. We no longer have the helmet, as she requested we send it back to her. Birgit was unprofessional in conversation and does not seem competent at her job.
