We had the pleasure of working with Dave at Goemans over the past few months. We ordered all new appliances through him. We are very pleased with our appliances and the service. We spent over 10 000 dollars on new appliances 8 yrs ago at this location. Last week the GE Profile fridge STOPPED WORKING. We called there service department and were told they could do NOTHING due to not purchasing a second term 3000 dollar extended warranty. This being said next time when we need new appliances we will just go to one of the big box stores and pay less to get this kind of service. ended up having to out source a different company to repair the fridge.

We have had nothing but wonderful service at Goemans. Bought all of our kitchen appliances as well as a washer and most recently a dryer. Always nervous when people deliver due to having a newly renovated home however they have exceeded our expectations. They have been nothing but the best.

DONT SHOP AT GOEMANS!!! I would not have given them a single star, as others have mentioned I had no choice. Worse place to buy your appliances! Do not shop at Goemans. We ordered our appliances for a new construction home. The order was placed in March 2021, this is May 2022, still no refrigerator. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. We took possession of our newly built home in October 2021 with only the washing machine and dryer. No kitchen appliances. We called the salesman numerous times, usually he was “not available “ when we did talk with him he gave us delivery dates, but no appliances showed up, then another date, same thing. When the dishwasher finally showed up, as we were taking it out of the shipping box, water ran out of the door. When I called the store, I was told it was my fault, I must have hooked it up wrong. Was not even out of the box. We asked about the other appliances, the Kitchener store manager told me their job is finished once they take the money. It’s not their job to follow up or look into when the appliances are due to arrive. There is no communication from the sales team, and when you call the customer service in Jamaica they tell a different story. When I asked the salesman about the misinformation , he said “they don’t know what they are talking about. The bottom line is.. I understand the back log due to COVID. But there is no excuse for the lack of communication or the way we were treated. Yesterday I went to Canadian Appliances Source and purchased a GE Cafe series refrigerator in Matte White, while the Gorman salesman was telling my wife no one has these refrigerators and no one can get the. Never again will I shop for anything at Goemans

I would not recommend Goeman’s to anyone looking to purchase any appliance. They don’t even deserve one star, but I couldn’t select less. We ordered all of our appliances (fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave and range hood) in August 2021, knowing there would be delays due to COVID and supply demands. That is not the issue. Joe was our sales rep. He was wonderful the day we picked everything out. However, once we paid the deposit, we could not get ahold of him ever again. We have called, left messages and sent emails; all to which he never returns or responds to. In October 2021, we began to get text messages from Goeman’s to schedule our deliveries. When we called the store to follow up about scheduling these deliveries and to ask all of the questions we could not get ahold of Joe to ask, the woman who answered the phone (who was incredibly rude and unhelpful, and refused to transfer me or share her name) told us that none of our appliances were actually in, and that we would need to pay in full to actually schedule a delivery. When I asked if there was a date my appliances were anticipated to arrive to the warehouse, she said she had no idea and she doesn’t deal with deliveries at the store location, and offered no further assistance. She was reluctant to give me a phone number for the warehouse/delivery department, but finally did. Dealing with the warehouse staff wasn’t terrible, they were able to give us anticipated arrival dates. I was told I would receive calls when my appliances started to arrive, but that didn’t happen. Every time I was given a date of arrival, that date would come and go, and I would hear nothing. A couple months ago, I called the warehouse to check in and they let me know that my microwave was in. They sent it to the store location and I was able to pick it up myself. Great! However, months went by again and I heard nothing. So I called the warehouse last week and they told me that the range hood was in, and that it would be sent to the store location for me to pick up. There must have been a miscommunication somewhere, because when I called the store location, I was rudely informed it was still at the warehouse and they don’t even do store pick ups unless it’s a Thursday. Now, the woman who picked up the phone was the same unhelpful individual that I had talked to the first time. Store policy is store policy, and if pick up days are only Thursdays, that is 100% okay. The fact that I was informed by one Goeman’s employee that this item would be ready for pick up the week of the 10th, and then for another employee to have zero customer service skills or genuine willingness to help when I called four days after I was supposed to get a call from them, is the problem. Please check in with your employees to see if they are okay. Share with them that customers are spending a great deal of money on their purchases, and that simply sharing a phone number or transferring a call to someone more able to help, would go a long way. I understand that people have bad days, and we are all human. However, judging from the reviews prior to mine, and the multiple experiences I have had when dealing with Goeman’s store employees, this is a consistent trend that should be dealt with.

If I could give them a zero, I would. It has been a nightmare dealing with goemans. We bought our appliances back in March for our new built custom home and it is now December and I’m still fighting for the rest of our appliances to be delivered. The reps at the store have been so rude and have offered zero solutions. One of their managers actually cancelled a part of our order without consulting us after it was delayed for 4 months after they were supposed to deliver it. We spent the whole day on the phone with customer service trying to fix that. They essentially took our money and have yet to deliver all of our appliances. I have opened a case with the better business bureau and hoping that can help us resolve our case. I will NEVER do business with goemans again and I don’t recommend anyone to buy their appliances from here. Please shop elsewhere.

GOEMANS SCAM - MINUS TEN RATING. In the middle of a lawsuit with them. Ordered appliances in March 2021 to ensure I would have them when my new house was built in November. Paid deposit up front - paid the balance when the appliances ARRIVED NOT DELIVERED. In August paid over $12,000. Tentative delivery date November. They tried to deliver in August and then started selling off my FULLY PAID appliances. Delivery had to be for all 6 but wouldn't hold the ones they had. Every week I received phone calls saying 2-3 of my appliances were missing. The fridge I ordered was discontinued and they had sold it off. Had to hire a U-Haul truck to pick up the ones they had. Had to buy a dishwasher from another dealer and then hunt for another fridge and hire another U-Haul truck. I will post again once the courts decide if they can do this to anyone else. Let's collectively put these scam artists out of business.

This is my second time using Goemans for a new build. I had a great sales experience with Terri today. She patiently spent close to 2 hours with me, educating me to make my appliance selections. She was very transparent about the products and also supply chain related lead times on all the products we looked at. She was very knowledgeable and gave me a great perspective to make my most informed decisions.
