We received an excellent service when my son had an eye exam and when we eventually ordered glasses for him. The optometry clinic was very clean and they followed recommendations of Health services in order to avoid Covid-19. We did appreciate that. Thank you!

Let me first start by saying this review in no way is reflective of Dr. Miranda's professionalism. This is simply about the business itself. At the end of my last exam, I was told that I could benefit from eyedrops. I asked Marta the cost of the HYLO GEL. She brought the box to me and told me it was $40. The next time I went in to buy it, it became $50, with a side of "Oh, no it was $50. There must have been miscommunication." Yeah, on her part and not mine. I may need glasses but my hearing is perfect. Let's talk about the actual exam. When OPTOMAP was first introduced, we were told that it was an optional test. Now, several years later, it has become a mandatory part of the exam. As it happens, the machine was not functioning the day I went in for my exam. I was told that I would be getting a phone call once it was repaired. I never got a call. On my next visit for my husband's exam, I asked Marta if, since I haven't had the test yet and it's optional, whether I could get a refund for the cost of the test which is $30 that the insurance company doesn't pay for because it's an elective test and not necessary. She said "No. It's part of the eye exam and it's never been optional." Which we know is not true having been a client for a long time. Our impression of her robotic response was that she had been told to say that OPTOMAP is required as part of their basic exam. She made absolutely no attempt to enquire from anyone as to whether anything could be done about my request. Not good customer service for loyal, long-term informed clients! I let her know that I was not happy with this situation. So, her response was, "Oh, you can do it now. The machine is working." Which I did not want to do at all since it was supposed to be optional. So then if the machine is working, where was my phone call??? So, as my husband and I were leaving, she gave a condescending "Have a nice day" remark. Needless to say, we won't be going back. And they have my $30. To the owners of this business, don't bother responding with your empty placations.

I received a voicemail stating that i was extremely overdue for my eye exam and hadn't had one in over five years and as such- they would be removing me from the call list as they "hadn't heard from me" and that "the ball was in my court now for this EXTREMELY important health check". The message, albeit pretty regular from a doctors office, could have been conveyed in a much more professional tone. Instead, the lady decided to use an extremely pushy, guilt tripping, and passive-aggressive tone to make me feel terrible by the end of it that i had forgotten an eye exam- something i haven't received a reminder about in the time i have been there last. Extremely poor sales tactics and customer service if you are looking to get people to come back- you are certainly not doing a very good job of it and i certainly will not be.

Had my first appointment at FYI Edgemont and was really impressed with all of their staff and Dr. Couture. From the time I called in to make appointment to the time I walked out the door it was clear that Customer Service is their number one priority. As well they were Covid prepared with signs and verbal communication on where to sit or stand. With their open floor plan I could see that they were wiping down equipment before and after each use. I was very comfortable there and would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a new Eye Dr.

I have been going to this clinic for a year now and got 2 pairs of prescription glasses over that time. Kari has been my optical associate and she is absolutely fantastic. She takes the time to listen to my needs and helps me pick out frames that suit my face. I am very picky and I have a strong prescription, so I sincerely appreciate her patience helping me with all my needs. She is extremely knowledgeable and can always answer any question I may have. Thank you Kari for being amazing at your job! I sincerely appreciate you :)

We had such a fantastic experience with our advisor Carrie. She was very patient with my twin boys and showed us plenty of options for lenses, frames, deals, price points, and insurance claims. Carrie was very knowledgeable, very friendly, and generally WONDERFUL! I will be using their services for all of my kid’s frame and vision needs.

Recently had the pleasure of working with the folks here during a regular eye exam with Dr. Couture- always friendly and professional! Took his time to make sure I had the perfect prescription dialed in, and was happy to take some extra time to look into how a recent eye injury was healing up. My advisor Kali was superb; walked me through the whole process of getting set up with frames and lenses and was more than happy to answer all of my questions. She explained all my options for the new glasses, as well as some options for glasses I already had. Great to have staff who feel as excited about your new glasses as you are- thanks everyone!
