Ada has been working in the salon industry for 11 years, 2 years in the hair industry and 9 years in the Nails & Spa environment. She specializes in manicures, pedicures, solar nails, gel nails & waxing. Ada thoroughly enjoys all aspects of this industry from spa pedicures to waxing. Her number one priority is to provide clients with a great experience. She is always ready to have fun and laugh with her clients, making each and every appointment a new experience. The relationships she has built with her clients and coworkers through the years are priceless in the success of Mint Nails & Spa Lounge. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great place! This was my third visit and I have yet to be let down. Jess did such an amazing job on my nails! Everyone is so nice and friendly and if I have an idea of a design they help me select the colours needed to bring it to life. They have all the covid protocols in place so you feel comfortable and safe. I highly recommend coming here, you will not be disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to Mint Nail Lounge for nearly 4 years and it has been overall, a great experience. I will say some nail techs are not my favorite. I typically only do a shellac polish application on my natural nails, and Jess V & Lina L are by far the best at that service.
I do wish the website listed ALL of their prices and services. The salon provides clients with a physical brochure that includes all services and prices ... Maybe add that same brochure online for people who are curious about trying the salon out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been here a few times and the first couple experiences were amazing. However the last time I came here, the lady who did my nails was so rude and cold. She was extremely aggressive with my nails and about 5 of my cuticles were swollen and bleeding. The acrylic nails were so uneven, and not even the nail polish was put on properly. I was literally scared of the lady doing my nails. I don’t remember her name but she was taking calls and talking about hiring someone so I assumed she was the manager or someone with authority which makes this whole situation worse. I have never left a bad review ever anywhere but I’m so disappointed and shocked at the horrible service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a gift card for my mother to use as a gift for mothers day. Her appointment was slotted for 3:30pm-5:00pm with Lena. I received a call from my mother stating that Lena was complaining she didn't have time to finish my mother's manicure and pedicure. In addition, my mother wanted a french manicure and pedicure (shellac), which she was clear on from the get go. My mother at some point was the only customer in the salon/spa and yet Lena was complaining she had no time. Mind you, their booking system schedules these appointments. When my mother asked her to speak to me over the phone, she stated everything was fine. My mother observed that when Caucasian customers came in, they were treated with the utmost respect . If you are woman of color, stay clear of this place . There are many nail salons where you don't have to go through hassles to get your nails done, just because you an Afro-Canadian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mint Nails is really clean and has a nice atmosphere. My usual nail tech, Lina, is so sweet and always makes sure to satisfy my requests. She also does an excellent job and listens to her clients. One tech did leave my nails rather clunky but the rest are great and some do really nice detailed work! The receptionists are also very sweet, and sometimes there are cute puppies present. I definitely recommend Mint Nails!
