Fish Creek Pet Hospital opened its doors for the first time in December of 2005. Our vision was to build an animal hospital that offered its clients preventative care and medicine, routine and emergency surgery, state-of-the-art diagnostics, and in-hospital treatment. Over the years, the business grew out of our original Millrise location. In December 2014 we relocated to Midnapore into a larger custom-built facility to better meet the needs of our clients and their beloved pets.
Our team of veterinarians and support staff has grown so that we can continue to be able to provide the same level of care to our community. Our hospital is, and will always be, committed to providing high-quality veterinary services in a way that stresses humanity, compassion and quality of life for pets and their owners. Our veterinary services are available both for our clients as well as pet owners referred by other veterinarians for emergency or extended stay services.

HOURS OF OPERATION
6:00 am – 10:00 pm: Open for general practice, elective surgeries, urgent care/emergency walk-ins and hospital admissions.
10:00 pm – 6:00 am: Closed
While we are not open to receive new patients between 10:00 pm – 6:00 am, we will remain fully staffed with a veterinarian and nursing staff overnight to provide the care and oversight needed for hospitalized patients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am so impressed by this pet hospital and particularly Dr. Lisa Scott, we have seen her a couple of times now and she has such a caring and efficient approach, and goes through all options for treatment, provides guidance and never charges more than needed. Our puppy is only 10 months old and we have visited the hospital 4 times and each time has resulted in our pup feeling much better with minimal disruption to her daily life. Also, any time I call the hospital, they spend a good amount of time talking to you, hearing about your dog's symptoms and providing solutions that sometimes do not include coming into the hospital, so I can tell their level of care is genuine, outstanding and are more focused on your dog's health vs. their profits. My 14 month pup was having major surgery and because of the covid closed door policy they took the time to snap a few photos before she went in. It made my night manageable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We received excellent, compassionate care from Fish Creek, from the start of our dog’s life through to the end. Fish Creek isn’t our regular vet, but each time we needed urgent care, we came here, and each time the service was fantastic.
When it was time to say goodbye, every member of the staff helped make the process as dignified and memorable as could possibly be hoped for. Fish Creek gave us one last happy memory with our boy for the road, which isn’t something you expect when you know it’s going to be the last stop on your pet’s journey.
While we won’t have need to come back for a while, when we eventually bring a new dog into our home, we will know we have a trustworthy place to bring them when we need help in a pinch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last night, we rushed our dog in and she had unfortunately passed when we got there. From the second we walked in, the staff were incredible. SO compassionate, patient, and understanding. As this outcome wasn’t expected, we were all crying and the staff took us into a private room away from the public to process this news. We were then transferred to another room to say one last goodbye. being able to talk to the staff members was so helpful. I cannot express my gratitude enough for making this tragic experience a little bit easier thanks to everyone working. We even left a few minutes after they closed, yet there was absolutely so sense of rush coming from them. Thank you Fish Creek Pet Hospital staff for being amazing. I wish we were able to catch their names. If any of them read this, I hope you know who you are !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you for your compassionate care of our beloved 20 yr old cat sniffles when I was able to cradle her in my arms as she was gently put to sleep looking up at me, completely at peace and no pain. It was unbearable to sit with her knowing we have to part but knowing she was soon to be pain free and trusting me to let her go peacefully made it bearable. The veterinarian and staff were so understanding and helpful in explaining my options for our beloved pet, helped me do the right thing for our beloved cat. Do not hesitate to use this clinic. They truly care for your family pet and are so considerate of how hard it is to part with your loving furry family member.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very positive experience. Our dog was not herself and was wanting to go out every 10 min. Called our vet but they were booked solid and referred us to Fish Creek. Checked their website and followed instructions. Called them, the lady on the phone was excellent. Friendly and positive. They said to come down and call from their parking lot. Called again once we got there and again very positive and re-assuring person on the phone. Took down all info on our dog, symptoms etc. The came and got her from the car, got checked out and prescribed antibiotics for a UTI. Opted also to run cultures which would take 3--4 days. Called our vet today and they have already recieved initial visit information and will call when culture results are in. Great service. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So happy with the service here. Turns out my visit was a false alarm but I was so worried I was going to be charged thousands of dollars. In the end my visit was less than $200 for a standard emerg vet consult. Service was amazing, from reception, to the vet tech to the vet. And they were very understanding of my leash reactive dog and put us in a room right away. I will not hesitate to come here again if needed in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These people are so wonderful! So compassionate and caring. My German Shepherd Mischa was taken quite seriously ill with pancreatitis last week and I brought her here. With Covid-19 of course we cannot go into the clinic with our pet, but I got calls keeping me updated, asking what I wanted to do and just generally making sure I was aware of exactly what was happening with and to my “little” girl. Such a great team. Mischa is now home again and feeling much better, with grateful thanks to extremely caring, wonderful veterinarians, vet techs and other staff. Thank you all …
