About Sabadilla Animal Clinic
Sabadilla Animal Clinic & Laser Centre is proud to serve the SW Calgary and Bridlewood area for everything pet-related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Stan Gira, who is a licensed, experienced SW Calgary veterinarian.
Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise. Sabadilla Animal Clinic & Laser Centre stays on top of the latest advances in veterinary technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.
Sabadilla Animal Clinic & Laser Centre is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.
At Sabadilla Animal Clinic & Laser Centre we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't say enough good things about Sabadilla animal clinic, my fiance and I moved to bridlewood about a year ago with our senior dog Zeus. Shortly after we welcomed our Akita Harlow into the family and needed a vet for both , we were recommended to Dr Gira and I am so thankful we were. In one vet visit he was able to pinpoint what was wrong with our senior boy Zeus that 27+ other vet visits couldn't figure out. And he has been amazing in the puppy care of our newest family member. And recently over the last week we had an emergency , a bad one at that , this happened at 5pm ( they were closing at 6) I called frantic and Barb told me to come over right away without an appointment or anything they were able to help us and make sure our fur-babies were/are well taken care of. They will have my continued business for years to come. We know our pups are in great hands everytime we visit. Thank you guys for being so amazing. The entire team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can not say enough good things about this clinic. I bring in both my dog and my cat. The staff are all absolutely lovely.
When my 12 week old puppy fell incredibly sick they took us in on emergency, validated all of my concerns about the way he was acting and even talked to my boyfriend over the phone to thoroughly explain what was going on. They ended up referring us to a different office (VCA) who was more equipped for large problems and emergencies. The care did not end when we left the office that day. The staff called in and checked in with us while we awaited surgery, they did research and gave us answers that no one else seemed to be able to. They followed his progress well into him coming home and healing. They even went an extra step to make sure he was doing well with his teething today. 100% recommend to everyone.

He has been our vet for 14 years and in that time I have tried other vets closer to the area I live but it just ends up costing me more money, as I always end up going to Sabadilla to sort things out.
