A cancellation saved the day for my poor cat who fractured her tooth. Staff were very caring and gentle with her. They took the time to answer my questions and ensure my cat had the best care. I was impressed how Dr McKenzie walked me through the surgery and had the xrays and photos to show me everything that happened. He helped me understand what all the issues were and how they addressed each one. With this I know my girl was fully taken care of which eased my stress a ton. It wasn't a cheap but that's part of owning a pet. She's worth every cent to live a happy and healthy life. Thank you to all the staff that assisted in our time of need.

Lovely doctor and staff. But was blown away by the price of medication. 1 treatment chew for my 12 pound dog was $45. But found out the same medication at a nearby vet was $9. Yikes.

TLDR; Woodlands Vet is full of kind, trustworthy, well intended, knowledgeable people who supported me in a time of great sorrow. I didn't find the cost too great (I am not well off), nor did I feel taken advantage of and I trusted their opinion; they gave me no reason not to. My opinion: Love your friends and give them the help they may need if it's within your ability to do so (I understand everyone has their own thing going on). The Doctors and Staff aren't here to rip you off, they're here to discuss what is best for your friend and pet. The Story: I had brought Josie, a Friend whom I rescued at the age of approx. 2.5 years old, once before on my friends recommendation and had a wonderful experience with the Woodlands Vet staff; they gave me knowledge and assurance to help me give Josie a better life. I noticed that my Friend, Josie, was having trouble eating, keeping food in her mouth, and drinking water. I called Woodlands, they heard me, were diligent and got me in quickly to have Josie seen. On visiting, Dr. Tom LeBoldus checked Josie out, then came out and told me that her condition wasn't good. He was patient with me, kind, considerate, and thoughtful in his explanation. I began to cry because I thought I was a terrible Friend to Josie. Dr. LeBoldus comforted me with well put together words and assurance that sometimes this is just how it goes. He provided me with some antibiotics and painkillers to see if it would help out. It did, for a time, but the condition was too extreme and too invasive to help Josie. The procedure would have left her in a state where she could no longer be a happy and independent young lady like she was. Dr. LeBoldus gave me some time to consider, because I was begging in my mind that it would just go away. She managed to have a few good days where she played really hard, seemed happy and free, like I knew her to be, and I stayed up all night with her sleeping on my neck, purring, which she had never done before; Josie was a sleep-between-my-legs kind of cat, though she had dared to rest on my chest and stomach a few times. Her condition began to worsen again; I cried and begged her to eat and drink, but she just couldn't. Her jaw started to make some awful noises, so I called Woodlands back and they set me up with Josie's last appointment. I refused to allow her to suffer on my behalf and for my emotional support; I loved her too much. Dr. LeBoldus showed me her condition in real time and it was even more awful than I thought it to be. Dr. LeBoldus and the Woodlands staff were empathetic and supportive toward me in what would turn out to be one of the most brutal and difficult decisions I would have to make in my life; Josie was put to sleep on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021. It absolutely broke me; my Friend is gone. The Woodlands Vet Staff were wonderful to me from the beginning, through the middle, and finally the end, as they were to Josie. They even showed me support after the fact. I felt cared for, seen, heard, supported, and attended to, as I saw Josie was as well. Thank you Dr. LeBoldus and the staff at Woodlands Veterinary Hospital & Animal Dental Centre... for everything. Kindly, Tomislav Viskovic

We have always been pleased and impressed with the care and attention that our pets have received at Woodlands Veterinary Hospital and Dental Clinic. Our first two pets, a Golden Retriever and a big orange cat, first met the staff at the hospital approximately twenty years ago. Since then, our pets lived long and happy lives through plenty of exercise, good nutrition, and excellent veterinary care. We now have a new Golden Retriever puppy. The Woodlands Veterinary Hospital and Dental Clinic have provided his health care from an initial checkup, through his inoculations, to a recent minor skin irritation. As always, the staff handled our dog cheerfully and professionally. Dr. Nagy’s examination was comprehensive and complete, and her answers to my questions were thoughtful and thorough. It remains clearly evident to me that the team at Woodlands Veterinary Hospital and Dental Clinic love their work and the animals in their care.

I have been to several vets over the years, good and bad. Woodlands is very knowledgable and upfront with their recommendations. They work because they love animals, not to rack up exorbitant costs.

We had a similar experience to others who also ranked this vet 1 star. I agree with this ranking and recommend seeking second opinions on recommendations from this vet. There are better vets out there, shop around, make sure the advice you receive is shared by peers in the veterinary profession.

Woodlands and Dr. LeBoldus were recommended by our regular vet to perform a needed surgery on our dog. Our entire experience has been absolutely wonderful. The pre-surgery consult was very thorough, and all of our questions were answered in detail. They were able to book us in quickly and the surgery itself went perfectly. When a few days after surgery our dog experienced an extremely unusual and unexpected side effect, the support the clinic provided was exceptional. They were able to see her right away, provided guidance and answered questions over the phone, and were able to quickly get the issue under control. We wouldn't hesitate to use this clinic in future. Dr. LeBoldus, the reception staff, and the veterinary assistants are just lovely people and great at what they do.

Doctor LeBoldus isn't in this just for the money - he loves the animals as well. I felt very well taken after and supported when making a hard decision and will not go to any other vet. I can't express how much I appreciated the care put in by both staff and vet during the last couple of weeks - thank you for giving my dog the best chance at life.
