About Silverado Veterinary Hospital
You know it's hard to find a vet that really cares. But the vet and staff at Silverado Vet Hospital really care. They are both compassionate and sensitive to both the feeling of their 4 legged patients and 2 legged owners. We have only had one serious problem and several small concerns with feline and canine members of our family. Any time we visited here we were confident that our pets were getting the best care found anywhere. I would have no problems recommending this pet hospital. They have our entire family's confidence and trust. Many thanks to all the members of the professional team there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are amazing. Kind, friendly and helpful! There are no words to describe the veterinarian care your pet receives when coming to this place. I could not imagine ever bringing my animals anywhere else for a c section. Before Dr. KD 2 of my dogs almost died, and I thought it was normal for puppies to be born dead and have to be revived. The mothers are alert and happy almost minutes out of surgery. I'll tell you it's a relief off my mind bringing them here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Silverado Vet Hospital was referred to us by a friend as we had a very sick kitty. Got us in right away, very attentive, compassionate and communicative. They are very professional and we felt very comfortable with their procedures and recommendations, treatment plans etc. We have found our new Vet and our cat is doing much better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been bringing my teddy bear to see KD since he was 6 months old. My bear is now almost 5 yrs old.
I drive 30 mins to go and see KD and her amazing staff cause they give my bear the best visits each time. I trust KD fully and I know that my bear is Alway in the best hands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Front staff were kind and somewhat helpful but the overall service to rescue pets is very deficient. Not only are appointments are set weeks in advance compared to other customers, but I did not see a sincere interest in the wellbeing of such animals (e.g. no plastic collar provided nor interest in checking for any other open wounds).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $93.45 is a lot to pay for you to have to pin your injured dog down physically, and have someone to look at their foot for 10-20 seconds, and tell you that they recommend blood work and x-ray, and wouldn’t give pain medication unless you get the whole package. Asked for a written report of recommendations, but nope, short and verbal only. No alternative options, only recommended to go elsewhere for a second opinion? Maybe based upon other reviews you can see if they’ll fit your needs - but unfortunately not mine. Front end staff are very nice and personable though.
Edit: As I can’t directly respond to the review that you can see below, the response to my review came fast, and I never did get a follow up email. It’s comical how the recommendations and information on my dog can be publicly sent via Google review, but not by email. As well, there were no pre-existing conditions and my dog has been in great health for his whole life. What a practice at this clinic - prey on the vulnerable wallets of people who love their dogs.
