Eveline started as hairstylist in 1974, and she continued to grow her business in the following years with EvelineCharles Salons | Spas | BeautyMD, after 43 years of business she has expanded to seven locations between Edmonton and Calgary. In 2005, the first EvelineCharles Academy was opened in Edmonton, a beauty institute that that offers cosmetology, esthetics and makeup artistry courses, which is the largest in Canada. In 2010, she opened her new state of the art EvelineCharles Academy in Calgary. EvelineCharles Labs opened in 2016, manufacturing products in the personal care business. The company is now expanding into franchising and plans to franchise across Canada with the Hudson’s Bay and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Involved in the community, Eveline is also a founding member of the Board of Directors for the Compassion House Foundation – where breast cancer patients receive support during diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Other organizations that are supported include Youth Emergency Shelter Society (YESS), Stollery Children’s Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association, United Way, and UNICEF.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this salon a few weeks ago and was fortunate enough to have Anzhela Kotlyarov as my hair stylist. It is hard for me to even put into words what an incredible job she did on my hair. I went in to get a colour and cut as my last set of highlights had faded into a brassy orange tone. I wasn't really familiar with what I was asking for (ie is it a balayage, highlights etc that im asking for) but right away Anzhela was able to seemingly read my mind and knew what I meant. I brought in a hair extension and she was able to match my hair to the colour of the extension PERFECTLY. She corrected the brassy orange tone and gave me the most beautiful, soft, natural looking colour I've ever had. I have 100% never had a nicer colour and cut then this, I can say without doubt this is the best my hair has ever looked. Anzhela is such an incredibly talented , skilled, and experienced stylist and what she was able to do with my hair is nothing short of a miracle.
The first picture in the striped shirt is my hair before, the close ups from the back are it next to the extensions (again perfect match!).
Thank you so much Anzhela, I will 100% be seeing her again and would recommend her to anyone! 10/10!

Jamisen gave her full out physical effort to the success of this change and I believe this wonderful stylist is one of the best I’ve dealt with in a very very long time. Great, excellent work!

I have been complimented on my colour so I know it was the right one for my colouring. She is very good at what she does. I would definitely recommend seeing her. Best experience at a salon.

I also had some waxing done and Kamlesh did an amazing job as always. This is the only place I will go to for my beauty needs. Thank you for making me feel great about myself!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have gone to Andrea on a couple of occasions now and every single time she does an absolutely amazing job! She really takes the time and effort to work with you and to ensure that you are getting the style that you want in a way that will best suit your face and style.
The staff are always incredibly kind and accommodating when checking you in/out. I would highly recommend going to Eveline Charles.

Going to the hairdressers has always been quite a nervous experience for myself personally and I found an amazing hairdresser which I used for years. She has since move on to nursing so I ended up going with somebody else. Since that experience and almost not returning to the salon I decided to give them another go and requested a new hairdresser. They booked me an appointment with Anzhela Kotlyarov. She was truly a breath of fresh air and it was nice to have a conversation about what I wanted done right from the get-go. She is super friendly and very open about suggestions but doesn't pressure you into doing anything that you feel uncomfortable doing or just simply don't want. She makes you feel welcome and relaxed and has great conversations. I now take all of my kids for haircuts specifically to her. I highly recommend her. Best hairdresser I've ever seen.

The hairstylist Natasha delivered as always great and very personalize customer service, Natasha always makes mi feel like at home, she took her time with my hair cut , and my highlights. Natasha's recommendations are always sincere and always right. After 20+ years not even once I have been disappointed, so I thought it was about time to write a review.
