A	Andea Silver on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hair cuts with Masoud - He's friendly, funny and honest. I have already referred 3 girlfriends and my boyfriend over and they've had great experiences! Prices are reasonable, he knows his stuff and he works hard. He always recommends customized products and for me. He’s down to earth and welcomes answering any questions on hair care that I may have. I did venture out to try other places over the past 6 months but haven’t found anything to beat my experience at Hair de Moda with Masoud!
M	Matthew Mulderrig on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend this place. My hairdresser was Aylin. I asked for an undercut, bleach, and partial dye. She was very detail focused and had a very steady hand when it came to applying bleach to parts of my hair. I will be coming here regularly!

I brought my daughter (12) here for a haircut and asked for "just a trim", expecting that they'd do as asked. Apparently at some point the stylist asked if she wanted her hair straightened, and without knowing any better she said 'sure'. I was waiting out front and at no point did the stylist ask me whether that'd be okay. So instead of an (already pricy) $30 haircut, she was given a $50+GST "cut and style". The cut was done well so I added a star for that, but the price/value just wasn't there for a kids' haircut, and it is entirely unreasonable to add services at the request of a minor without asking the parent. Not pleased, won't be back.
E	E S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ He told me that he would give me a special deal for my ombré and that I wouldn't regret it. I specified very well what I wanted and what I didn't want. I asked many times that my hair doesn't come out orange but light yellow. He told me that he knew exactly what he was doing so I went with it and I regret completely because my hair came out orange. For the price of 240$ I could of went to anyone else for even cheaper and would of got a better price. The next day I had to leave Edmonton so I couldn't go back to ask for a refund.

They did not offer to take my coat, I have no overalls when they were washing my hair, I said no treatment but still gave me treatment, I said I only wanted to trim my hair but I just notice my hair in the back was a wack job! It’s so uneven I want to cry. And when the trimming started the overall they used on me was dirty and have other peoples hair in it. We were the only customer in that time but still all the stuff they used were not clean! This is such a horrendous place.

Paid $50 for a fairly straightforward haircut (a couple inches shorter with layers, dry cut with no styling). It was a little expensive but I thought he did a good job getting rid of all my split ends so I didn't mind.

C	Chantal Shaw on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I stopped by for a quick trim today at this salon. After sitting in the chairs we both got harassed about trying highlights. We both weren’t quite sure and didn’t want to. Before I know it, the hairdresser is walking away to mix up the product. He came back and I thought why not. After an hour or so, I regret everything. The cut was average but the highlights for both of us were awful and didn’t suite our colours! He kept going on about the magic he works and how fast he did it. Clearly they don’t listen to their customers or care what they look like walking out.. What was worst then the results? The price! Between my boyfriend and I, we spent nearly $500! When all we really wanted was a trim! My boyfriend asked for his beard to be trimmed which she didn’t do properly but charged him for. And I had a $30 extra charge for the type of dye he used when he didn’t even ask me if he could use it or explain the extra cost! I can’t believe this place, they just care about money! I will never be going back again and will be recommending all my friends and family to STAY AWAY!!
