Poutines and Fries
We use Kennebec potatoes for our fries. Why? We’ll try not to get too food science-y on you, but Kennebec potatoes have firm and low moisture flesh so they won’t become limp and soggy when fried. And with just the right amount of starchiness, they brown up beautifully with an exceptional flavor that is both warm and nutty. TMI? OK, they’re the perfect potato for crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Using anything but real Quebec cheese curds for our Poutines is simply not going to happen. And when they’re covered in our signature Meltwich gravy, there’s a reason it’s one of our best-selling items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw this place after leaving Galaxyland and thought it would be a good fast food dinner and we were right! Located right next to the Galaxyland entrance, this place provides a little something extra when compared to other food court style restaurants. Delicious sandwiches/burgers and sides made fresh to order and served with the kindest, friendliest customer service. The gentleman taking our order had amazing customer service on top of the food being fantastic which made it really stand out. Cute little dining area connected right to the restaurant too which is separate from the food court which is also nice if you’re looking for a place to sit down and eat in the mall but don’t want to commit to going to a full restaurant in BRBN ave. Honestly, this food would be worthy of viral Instagram videos; check it out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place now has a special place in my heart but unfortunately for all the wrong reasons. After reading some mixed reviews, I decided to be optimistic and order from them since they have Vegan options. As I stood by the counter there were 2 employees on their phone with no interest of a potential customer. Once one of them decided to finally get up to take the order, it almost seems she was annoyed for being Interupted from her phone and spoke in a rude tone. It's hard enough to find this place away from the food courts, you'd think they would enthusiastically take your order. It seems like they have no interest in making money as they manage to drive away a customer who was ready to order. I treat people with respect, not too much to expect the same from someone who is first line cotact for a business. If they have no interest to take your order properly how can one trust they can prepare your food properly? Such potential but what a bad business model. If I could rate negative stars I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered from Meltwich for the first time and wow, I'm impressed! I went with the smokey bacon cheder burger and fries, it was delicious. Fries cooked perfectly and the burger patty was on point. Perfect amount of sauce and the burger stayed together until the last bite. The staff were friendly and welcoming. If you're at the mall I recommend you seek this place out and give it a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful little, hidden gem! Great, fresh food (their fries are really awesome, especially in the mini poutine), very small, but cozy dining area, a wide variety of food choices, and they even have reese's peanut butter milkshakes! Definitely stop by! Their food is seriously awesome!

We also tried the crispy chicken burger, that again for $12 was a small.. very small burger. Not worth it.
Won’t recommend trying this place to anyone.
Very bad service.
