Coast Kamloops Hotel & Conference Centre

This hotel, it’s staff (yuvraj & arun specifically) have gone beyond what you may call duty and responsibility, reached out, and helped a broken down traveller re-charge my phone, and behaved in a manner not found at most business in Kamloops. Because of their kindness, I was able to get back on the road: and after all, isn’t this the attitude we should all present to people in strife, people less fortunate than ourselves, those in genuine need of assistance? I happy recommend this hotel because of the “user friendly” staff, and a five star posting is the only way for me to convey to the public how this establishment stepped up, and made my road a little less hard for travel. I think, Covid 19 has snatched away the niceties we used to enjoy, and replaced it with misplaced mis-trust, a very valuable commodity, in todays topsy-turvy world. Next time you see someone in need, (like a car on the side of the highway for example), stop, reach out, and make a difference in someone’s life. After all, all we really have is one another, and it seems to me like we’re losing sight of that precious gift that God has given us. Happy trails…and God Bless.

Romeo's Restaurant cooking is just plain AWFUL. I ordered the Pantang Bowl without noodles and rice. They filled the bowl with celery. My partner ordered a pizza - it tasted like chemical. I tried the pizza and had to spit it out. It was that bad. The worst of it was the manager came out and insisted the pizza fine. She offered us a dessert. I told her we did not want anything from them. As a Coast Hotels member I am thoroughly disappointed. I will not be coming back here. I do not recommend Coast Hotel Kamloops.

Requested a crib when I made the reservation a week before. No crib when I arrived, after everyone looking around for one they gave me an old dirty pack and play with no sheet. Requested a sheet and it took an hour to get. Had to put the pack and play together myself. Room was dirty, crumbs, dog fur and what I pray to god was crusty food, beside the bed on the floor, plates had crusted food on them. The door to the balcony didn’t seal properly so there was a draft coming in. Front desk was snotty and rude. Parking was terrible, had to park at the back of the building and then walk my luggage and stroller around and almost got hit by someone driving carelessly. I just really don’t recommend staying here.

Great hotel! Clean Rooms, were big plus had pool side access or balcony over looking pool, the brunch buffet was awesome, and has a tropical pool area including large pool, baby pool and has a hot tub. Staff were very nice ! Felt at home there I didn't want to leave! . Definitely will be returning. Not overly priced I think that it's worth and the overall experience you recieve reflects in the rooms price here. ??

Positive: The Atrium was nice. The room was nice. It matched what I would expect for the money it cost. Negative: When I booked I looked forward to relaxing around the pool and enjoying the hot tub. It soon became known that the children would take over the entire area. Not your fault

We had a great stay, loved how lush and tropical the pool area is. Our suite was clean and spacious and we really liked the full size toiletries in the bathroom (they smell great too)! Special shout out to their maintenance man who loaned us some tools to help us fix a broken trophy at the last minute. Will be staying here again next time we visit Kamloops.

Upon arriving to check in the front desk staff was ok, not overly friendly. We had checked to see if our room was ready at 2:30 but it needed to be inspected. We came back later in the day and got our keys; our room smelt so terrible, it wreaked of fish. I went back to the front desk and she rectified the issue and changed our rooms right away. Our new room smelt much cleaner, but there was orange food smeared all over the coffee table so the surfaces obviously aren’t wiped down when they clean. I bought my own cleaner and disinfected the surfaces. My husband and son used the pool and it was so chlorinated that both of them broke out in rashes. My son slept on the sofa bed, which was about as comfy as sleeping on a cardboard box, so our second night he just slept on the regular couch. Our bed was also very uncomfortable, we could feel the springs in our backs while we were sleeping and we were so sore we could have to switch sides half way through the night. Our last night there someone was trying to get into our room in the middle of the night, and eventually the guy passed out in the hallway shirtless and I notified front desk right away. Overall I would never stay here again, we paid quite a bit for our stay and it was definitely not worth it. Very disappointed as this was a birthday trip. I’ve stayed much cheaper elsewhere with way cleaner rooms that smell clean.

Had a great stay. Front desk was able to check me in a few hours early! Hot tub was great and nice and warm. Pool was good sized and open! The atrium is a really nice feature to the hotel and make it nice and warm. Rooms were great and super comfortable. Showers were great and really warm. Hotel food was really good! Nicest place I have stayed in a few months!
