Travelodge by Wyndham Kamloops Mountview

Best room this trip. Nice and big, comfortable bed, had a jacuzzi tub which was amazing. Staff were great. The gentleman that checked us in call about 10 minutes after we got to our room to say a hand towel was missing (we never would have noticed) so he brought it up to us straight out of the dryer. 10/10 would stay here again.

Overall reasonably priced hotel room was clean but a bit worn in places.

Friendly staff and smooth check-in and out process. Our room was clean and had a VERY comfortable bed & pillows. The wifi was strong enough for a zoom meeting and it was handy that they have an elevator (saved us a couple trips with our baby and stroller). Will be back if we need a hotel in Kamloops again.

I have stayed in a variety of hotels and motels in my life and by far this was my worst experience staying at this Travlelodge. I was woken up at 5am by someone knocking on the next room door for 10min as there is no sound proffing at all!! There was water stains along the roof in the bathroom due to leaks, the sink vanity was beat up at the bottom, the light had electical issues and would not turn on some times, and the toilets are made for the size of a 5 year old. On top of that the pool was closed due to repair and no one indicated this when I was booking my room. The hall way rugs are severly worn and look dishiveled. I have never formally complained about a hotel room but with all the issues I did - especialy when they are charging $140.00 a night!! After my discusion with the buliding managment they moved me to another room, except now the TV was not working right in the new room. BAHHH. When I addressed this concern they sent a handy man to look into it and while they changed the cable box the employee failed to test that everything was working on the tv it self as I had indicated and left without saying anything to myself. And he left my room door wide open while I was on a phone call in the other room. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! Its not worth the money!!!! I do have to say that the lady working the front desk was very nice and truely appologetic, so cutos to her as she seems to be the only one able to do her job well and be kind at the same time.

Save yourself the effort! Our room stunk of cannabis so bad we had to cancel. Met a guy in the parking lot who stays there regularly for work(not by choice) and says most of the rooms are the same. Stay at the Wingate down the road. For $2 more the experience and room was excellent and clean.

I've stayed at this hotel twice, and the hotel staff (Erwin) was the one who helped me with both of our stays. The 5-star review is for these well-deserved front desk and restaurant staff. The rooms are good. I will stay at this hotel again if I stop by Kamloops.

Disappointed to say the least. The $50.00 unadvertised damage deposit should have been a clue! Stayed on 2’nd floor, with lots of clunks and bumps from neighbouring rooms. (we hoped that it would settle down! HAHa) Went to use the a\c unit, but hardly any airflow, opened the flaps, VERY VERY dirty! Scrapped some of the crud off to get a bit of cooling. Not too reassuring. Then the partying, loud talking, and music started, lasting until way after midnight. To then top it off was being woken up hearing someone puking their guts out around 3 am. Generally room was clean, maybe a little more attention to the toilet splash zone though. One weird thing was no night table on the left side of the bed. We won’t be repeat customers.
