J	Jay Woollard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in to the branch to open a self-directed investing account. I though my application was fine, because I was able to invest my money. I didn't find out until a few months latter that a signature had been missed, so my application had been rejected, yet I was still able to deposit and invest money initially. I was never notified about this, and because of it I had zero control over my money until it was resolved. I booked an appointment online, because I was unable to reach someone at the branch with the earliest available opening on a Sunday with Andrew Davis. Turns out CIBC is closed Sundays, but they still allow you to book appointments. I was finally able to get that issue resolved. Turns out they also didn't fill out the form linking my checking account from another institution, so at this point I am done with CIBC. I am sure that some branches are better than others, but many of the advisors at this specific branch are grossly incompetent.

I went in for a simple question on my account, the teller wanted me to schedule an appointment with an agent after the weekend or call the main service centre, it was 3pm and they close at 5pm and there is no one available to answer, I called the Richmond branch 6km from this branch with the exact same question and the were able to answer me over the phone, talk about knowing how to your job and don't know how to do your job.
w	wen he on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not deal with Maria Andronescu. She is very rude and unprofessional. She wired money and did not keep the same type of currency as required. It took months to send the money, there was loss for exchanging the currency back. She was extremely unfriendly as if she is your boss. Stay away from her.

AVOID this branch. especially Maria Andronescu. no clue what she's doing. . spreads your personal information all across the company to get her bonuses. she admitted she banks elsewhere (not with cibc). you'll need to constantly babysit and involve a manager to get your banking done. but don't talk to the manager at this branch, she's just as clueless. ask her for help but all she'll do is try to sell you tfsa product. AVOID

B	Brandon Tkachuk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT DEAL WITH MARIA OR JACOB. Posting on behalf of my Fiancé, she had applied for a loan and had pre approval. The person Jacob who dealt with her first was very helpful and nice. He seemed like he actually cared. However, he left for vacation and passed the application over to Maria Andronesco or whatever her name is. She made her jump through hoop after hoop after hoop and she had everything that she asked for. Then she said that it wasn’t enough after TWO WEEKS of waiting and not answering any calls and being quite condescending, she said that the “underwriter” had denied the loan. She was so rude and just didn’t care at all that we needed to buy a car. She had called Jacob after his vacation and he never returned her call or anything. If we could give 0 stars we would. My fiancé has been with CIBC for almost 10 years and now she’s switching to a better bank. It’s not worth the hassle they put you through!
