★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came to this Canada Goose store to exchange a white jacket from them to a black one. I could very well say that the customer service provided was not up to par with this high end brand. I work in fast food customer service and the service provided there compared to the store i work in was way worse. They took my jacket and I started to look at other options to replace it with it, nobody assisted me with this. I was discussing possible order placement of a size of the particular jacket to the person at the counter only to be told off by the manager who came from the back that I have already worn the jacket elsewhere because of the “stain” on the sleeve. Ive read previous reviews and this seem to be a recurring problem with other customers trying to exchange jackets in this branch. In my case I have never worn the jacket, the tag was even still on it. However this reasoning for the stain did not bother me at all, what bothered me was how dismissive and sarcastic the tone of the manager was. Definitely felt like I was being talked down to. I have experienced better customer service from other third party sellers like holt and saks. Looking back, i wished i didnt choose to deliberately purchase the jacket from the main branch, definitely was not worth the choice. I hope you guys improve your customer service in the future. Definitely recommend buying Canada Goose from other stores or online instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the past I read many negative reviews of this store, hence avoided it. Fast forward a couple of years I decided to check them out. I have to say there is nothing negative to report in my experience. All the staff are very helpful. I tried on many jackets and staff literally jogged around finding jackets to try. I found one, brought it home, decided after a couple days did not like it. The return process was painless, very accommodating. I went back to find a different jacket...again very helpful. I am a senior and more often than not seniors are pretty much ignored. Not at Canada Goose Chinook. One lady in particular, ALEX more than helpful, very knowledgable, super friendly, a great help. More retail NEEDS to be like her. I will definitely recommend this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buyer BEWARE. Based on my experience you better make sure that you are absolutely 100% confident because if you have any second thoughts on this substantial purchase then returns will be a major challenge. My wife and I bought two winter jackets for a total of ~$2,500 on a Friday. Got home and after trying them on again we had second thoughts. Put them back in their bags and put them on the shelf. Tags and everything still on like new. Sunday morning I went back to return them and were told that both were not re-sellable due to dust/lint/etc... I was really taken aback since when we bought them I asked about the return policy and we were told as long as they were in sellable condition with tags then they could be brought back no problem within 30 days. But it seems their definition of sellable is pretty narrow. I can't imagine if we actually put them on and did a lap around the block or something it would be impossible to return. Besides that the store was nice and sales people seem friendly and polite. I think we got caught up in the status of a Canadian Goose jacket and although the jackets look great we found them lacking in function. Their jackets seem fitted almost like skinny jeans so that if you are not a skinny person you will feel tightness in various areas (arms for me, chest for my wife). I've never had this issue with Columbia/North Face style jackets which area always loose enough to be comfortable. My wife and I said heck if you are spending $1,200+ on a jacket then it should be amazing and I can't say I believe that to be true. If you find something at Canada Goose that's perfect for you and you have cash to burn go for it. But you could probably get something equal or better quality for a fraction of the cost and not have to worry about a battle to return if you change your mind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I highly do not recommend this store, there are other Canada Goose that will treat you with respect.
We were visiting from Toronto, and this short rude female associate was supposed to be working with us. My friends were interested in a jacket but as soon as we touched a jacket she would yell at us and refused for us to take it off the rack. I was so surprised. I would never expect this behavior at a store like this.
I'm glad she didn't earn our business lmao. If you hate your job that much, please work somewhere else.
Anyways bought a coat from the Banff location the next day, highly recommend working with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you re shopping for a Canada goose jacket I would recommend doing so at another location . I wish I had read the reviews prior to coming to the Chinook location as the “one star reviews “ all seem to be related to the same issue - return / exchange policy . They claim to have a thirty day return policy , unworn , unwashed and tags still on - although if you have even the slightest speck of dust or lint on the coat they will claim it to be “ unsellable “ and refuse to take the coat back . I bought a jacket with the understanding I could change my mind- the understanding that the sales person was well informed enough to explain store policies accurately and truthfully . Buyer beware !! A few days later I decided the coat was not the right one - I may have even exchanged for another Canada goose coat but now I am completely appalled and put off by them all together . The sales lady initially refused the return after looking in the pocket and seeing lint — actually I didn’t even put my hands in the pocket at all ! (((Warning to check pockets before purchase at this store . )) She claimed it to be worn- well I wore it at the store and at a mirror in front of my house for less than ten minutes before placing it back in the bag so it would not get damaged . I wish I had taken a picture of the coat so I could add it to this review as it was still immaculate. I am disappointed and quite honestly offended by the customer service - or lack there of . Sorry goose - I’ll be going elsewhere and telling everyone to do the same

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible customer service, will never shop there again. Easy to take your money for expensive coats, but not so much on follow ups. Bought a 1175$ coat, wore it once, took back in mint conditions to exchange for a different model due to sizing after speaking to a customer service rep by phone; was turned down rudely at the store. I bought the coat with a different understanding. Now reading the other reviews, it seems a common story. Buyer beware!
