★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for the 2nd time. The young Aussie gentleman that checked us in greeted us with the friendliest smile which was really nice to see in a time where customer service is not always the greatest anymore. We requested to stay in the same room as our last visit, and he quickly made the room change for us no questions asked!
We went to the Upper Hot Springs while we waited for 4pm check in. When we got back to our room there was a card with our name printed on it welcoming us back! Great touch - We WILL be back! Mountain Lodge is lucky to have such a warm kind worker like him!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly front desk staff, beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms. Missed a mini fridge, but otherwise great. My only wish would be to have it further off from the road. The rooms facing Tunnel Mountain Dr. tend to get noise from the traffic (transit included). Sitting on the balcony, the traffic being RIGHT there, it unfortunately takes away from the 'mountain getaway' feel. Otherwise, everything from food, staff, and amenities, are excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fantastic girls weekend at the lodge celebrating my birthday. Thank you so much for hosting us. The hot tub is fantastic and the in room wood burning fireplaces were such a nice touch. My only ask would be for more kindling and or firestarter in the room. We had to wait a while for it to get delivered on a busy Saturday night. We saw deer and the bus was so easy to catch into town. We would for sure stay again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a good place! Super neat had a lot a fun memories. Beautiful restaurant and helpful staff. Maybe one thing is if they would start up the room cleaning service again. I always enjoy places that do that. But no complaints.. rooms are quaint and cute with nice beds and bathrooms..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a nice time there. Staff are pretty friendly. The restaurant was good. I liked the appetizer better than the main course. Breakfast was also good in the hotel. We enjoyed the hot tub. They also have ebikes for rent. I had a slight problem with plug-in my phone on charge in our room cause there was only one far from the beds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a pleasant stay in a very nice lodge. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and clean. The fireplace warmed up the room and provided a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, we found a patch of dried out sick on the floor next to the bed, so the cleaning was not done properly before we arrived. As a compensation, we were offered a complementary breakfast which was nice. However, the vegan options were very limited in the restaurant. Also, the restaurant was too small and seriously understaffed, so we needed to wait around 30 minutes to be seated. All in all, this hotel is a good place to stay for a few nights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for three nights April 5-8, 2022. Our room was dated with very thin walls. Fireplace is a great touch. Apparently rooms are getting renovated however. The property is great and the outdoor hot tub is fantastic. Decent fitness Center. Hotel lobby is designed/decorated beautifully. Loved hanging out there. The restaurant is outstanding. Ended up eating there every night. Some nice easy hikes right in the area as well. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to get a little ways away from all the noise in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can't say enough about our experience at Buffalo Mountain. First off I'll start by saying the customer service and hotel staff were amazing, very friendly , helpful and easy to deal with. The room was very clean for being pet friendly. With the balcony backing onto the forest, the dog had plenty of room to go to the bathroom and sniff. The fireplace was super easy to use and the wood was brought right to your door, no need to chop and get your own. The outdoor hot tub was super clean and very warm, a nice touch for sure. Lastly the restaurant in the hotel was superb. Highly recommend the spinach pasta and trout dinner. Amazing for sure. We will be back in the future.
